Capture Orange Blossom Island Imagined By Juliet Armstrong Shown As Script
after their parents' death had been none too happy for Irene and her nine year old sister, with a grudging aunt and uncle making it quite clear that the girls were nothing but a burden to them so when their grandmother invited them to go and visit her in her home in Cyprus, with a view to settling there and helping her to run her Hotel Hermes in Nicosia, Irene was only too pleased to make a complete break with the past.
It turned out to be a wise move, for their grandmother was a s welcoming and affectionate as Irene could have hoped, and made it clear that she hoped Irene would marry and settle down in the beautiful island.
There was just one snag: Irene soon found herself crossing swords with the hotel manager, David MacLeod, how once told her, 'I'd as soon kiss a tiger'!
This was a solid.
for me even though a lot of things were offbalance,
The h spent too much time agonizing over the offsite OM, which reflected poorly on her,
The H was too sympathetic to the OW, who was widely loathed by the populace at large for good reason, However, overall he was a kindhearted guy who seemed like a good prospect for the H, It's unfortunate that he wasn't really painted as enough of a romantic lead,
The OW's story had an interesting resolution it turns out she had a secret and sordid according to the standards of the community past with the onsite OM, but she wasn't exposed for the fact that she was an unrepentant, meanspirited liar.
The grandmother, who was quite the manipulator herself, with was nonetheless very interesting and kind and would have been the good subject of a charming book on the loves and lives of people living in a quaint cypress hotel.
