Immerse In Sweet Callahan Homecoming (Callahan Cowboys, #15) Prepared By Tina Leonard Offered As Printed Matter
love this series and am going to miss not having any new Callahan's to read about but if you are like me you have been waiting for Ash's story ever since Tina introduced the character in A Callahan Outlaw's Twins.
I always knew that Ash and Xav would get together, The last book in the Callahan Cowboys series is about Ash and Xaviers story, Ash is the youngest in the Callahan family and is the baby of the family, She has been in love with Xav for ages and is quite demonstrative in terms of her feeling to him.
She was the one who does the chasing for his attention in the earlier books, Ash ran away when she thought she has killed her uncle to protect her family but Xav is determine to find and bring her back to where she belong.
However, he was up for a surprise when he found her with theirbabies, He is determined to get her to marry him but as much as she wanted too, Ash refused as she worries she may bring threat to him.
It is a sweet romance and I like the push and pull relationship between Ash and Xav, What I like was that neither of them denies their true feeling for each other and it was their feelings that they are having the pushing and pulling interest between them.
I like Xavs for his sheer determination to protect Ash and their babies, It is a wonderful end to a beautiful series especially the ending of the story,

This was a great book, I have read all of these books twice, Is well written. I enjoyed how the family reunited with their parents The perfect ending to a wonderfully written series, Thisbook series will definitely be on my "Favorites" list and be read over and over again, In Sweet Callahan Homecoming by Tina Leonard, Ashlyn Callahan has always believed that she is the haunted one, So one night when she believes that she has killed her uncle, the one thing their grandfather has prohibited to them, she runs away from her family to keep them safe.
According to her grandfather, the haunted one will bring darkness down on her family and that is the only way to keep them safe.
Xavier Phillips has loved Ashlyn for a long time now, But as the only female Callahan he would have a tough time convincing her to marry him, He had expected to ask her to marry him when Wolf ambushed them, and then she ran away, Now its almost Christmas and Fiona wants Ash back home, So Xav will do his best to track her down and bring her home,
Xav has finally tracked her down, but the woman who answers the door denies knowing Ash, But his instincts have him looking in on the window, only to find her carrying one baby and surrounded with bassinets containing three other babies.
Xav believes at first that she is helping caring for another persons babies, until she start breastfeeding, Now he will take him woman and his children home with him no matter what,
Ash knew that sooner or later she would have to tell him the truth, but she is not ready.
She wants to keep them her family safe, but if she returns she will put them in danger once again.
Wolf has already said that she was his main target, only now she also needs to think of her children and the best way to keep them safe.
Not to mention that she misses her family,
But as they are planning to head back to Rancho Diablo, Wolf shows up and attempts to kidnap Ash.
Xav needs to keep his babies safe and having wild shots with them within range is not safe, But he will make his move as soon as Wolf thinks he is almost succeeded, He asks Mallory, the woman Ash has been with, to take the babies to the safety of the kitchen and makes his move.
Shooting three times towards Wolf and his accomplice he believes that he has killed them, Only to learn the bodies have disappeared when the sheriff arrives,
Ash and Xav head back to Rancho Diablo believing that they are now safe from Wolf, but things are not as they seem, as they will soon learn.
But in the meantime, Xav will do his best to try to convince Ash to marry him, Yet she keeps declining saying that she will bring darkness to his life, without accepting that she loves him as much as he loves her and that for their childrens happiness they should be together.
Then when he finally convinces her, the magic wedding dress magically burns and is replaced by a normal wedding dress that when she tries it seems to choke her and she is unable to remove on her own.
Things are complicated for the Callahans in this last book, But with the help of their grandfather and the things that Ash just knows somehow, they will be able to finally defeat the darkness that has been hunting their family for many years.
And if you have been following their journey, just like me you will love the ending, Not going to tell you what happens but it is the best ending to a wonderful series, This is part of a series which I have not read the other ones, It is not you normal romance I would call this more a supernatural because of the spirits and a magical wedding dress.
It was a little far out there for me to say this book is believable although it was a very interesting read.
For the most part it did keep my interest but I got lost at times which the author usually found me.
The author has a wonderful style of writing but lost me when dress burn and spirits that have to be dealt with.
Ashlyn flees home when she thinks she kills her uncle who wants to take everything away from them.
She and her brothers where raised her aunt and uncle her parents had to go in to hiding, When she flees she leaves behind the man she loves not telling him she is expecting his child, Nine months later she aunt sends Xavier to find her, In return he finds he is a father ofchildren, He brings them back home and the action starts he must get her to agree to marry him why he keeps them all safe.
This was a nice clean book without pages of sex which is always nice to get right to the hard of writing without covering up the story.
The story was a little much for me to get into but was good read I do feel there are others out there that will not only enjoy this but will love this book.
If you are looking for a book with action, mystery and passion this is the book for you, I would recommend this book to my friends who would enjoy this type of reading,
Sweet Callahan Homecoming
I'm truly sad to see the Callahan story coming to an end but it was a wonderful ending.
Rio Diablo is finally safe, There was a part of me that would have liked to see Wolf some how redeemed himself, Maybe the story will continue with Xavier's family or the children of all the Callahan's, Excellent conclusion to the series, I have been looking forward to Ash and Xav's story since they were first introduced, Ash may be the youngest of this branch of Callahans, but she's strong, independent and very determined, She has been attracted to Xav from the beginning and has had no problem letting him know her interest, In earlier books it was great fun to see her chase him down and see him be just as determined to resist her.
She is also certain that she is the focus of her uncle's threats against her family, As the threats escalate, Ash starts trying to put distance between herself and Xav in order to protect him, Soon he is the one pursuing her,
When she thinks she has killed her uncle she flees New Mexico for Texas to protect them all.
Xav is determined to find her and when he does he gets quite the surprise Ash and four beautiful little babies.
He is determined to get her to marry him so he can protect her and the children, He has a fight on his hands because Ash is afraid that marrying him will put him in even more danger.
The push and pull between these two as each tries to convince the other of their position was great to see.
Neither denied that the love between them existed, but both felt that protection of the other was the most important.
I loved Xav's patience and persistence, He didn't yell, he didn't fuss much, he was just always there backing her up, even when she didn't want it.
And no matter how hard Ash tried to shut him out of her plans to stop her uncle, there was always a part of her that was glad he was there.
By the time the end came I was glad to see that they had stopped fighting each other and started to work together.
The two of them together made a fantastic team, It was also interesting to see how Xav's pragmatism stood up against Ash's spirituality and the balance they brought to each other.
The culmination of the story of Wolf's attempts to drive the Callahans away from Rancho Diablo was very good.
In previous books we've seen him kidnap and attack, and aid the drug cartel that had driven the Callahan parents into Witness Protection.
In this book he has reached the pinnacle of his desperation to steal the land and everything that goes with it.
The final showdown was just nervewracking enough to make me wonder if he was going to get away again,
The final scene of Xav and Ash's wedding was great, Even though Ash had given up on the idea of the magic wedding dress for herself, I loved seeing how the magic came through for her.
There was also one final, wonderful twist during the wedding that made a perfect ending to the series, A rousing finale to the Callahan Cowboys series, Finally we get Ash and Xav's story, and a conclusion to the danger that all the Callahans faced, A very fun and amazing series comes to an end, The spirit of the Diablos lives on, Xav
and Ashlyn have been in love with each other for quite some time, It's been an interesting journey to watch Ash fulfill her destiny, And to watch her brothers on their journey, and even all the cousin stories, And all those BABIES!!! Okay, so I thought the twin, triplet and now quadruplets a little much, but I guess it's okay with all the other magic and mysticism of the story.
And the story had the perfect ending! Marked as to read, Can't wait I think I would have liked this book better had I read a couple of other books in the series.
A lot of stuff I didn't understand but it wasn't a bad book, I didn't like that they did not involve the babies more in the story line, Four Babiesand Her Whole Familyto Protect
Ashlyn Callahan has always known that her fate can only bring danger to those she loves.
Thats why she flees Rancho Diabloand the ornery cowboy she lovesto hide out in Texas Hill country, But all hell breaks loose when Xavier Phillips finds herand her four newborn babies,
Xav finally tracked down his warrior womanonly to discover shes the mother of two perfect little boys and two perfect little girls.
And hes the father! Now Ash has to marry him, With the future of her entire clan at stake, Xav is ready to lay his life on the line to safeguard the family legacy.
Not to mention create a homecomingand a wedding!worthy of his Chacon Callahan bride! aww man what a way to end the series.
I absolutely loved it. Tina Leonard nailed it down perfectly, It is sad to see the series end but it was bittersweet, I will miss the Callahan crazy wild ways but I look forward to new books from Tina, Great ending to series!!!! Only wish people who do cover art would show what is depicted in the book as one little girl has downs syndrome the baby on front doesn't show that A romantic suspense featuring quadruplets was intriguing and I enjoy a male in pursuit but I didn't like the heroine's stubbornness.
It went on so long that the story became unbelievable, The uncles were jokers that didn't fit the serious story, Also, this series really should be read in order, Xav tracks down Ash who was in hiding and finds she has four infants that are his, Wonderful Ending to a Wonderful Series
This is the ending to a wonderful series, Ash and Xav's story. I couldn't put the book down, If you haven't read any of the Callahan series, I highly recommend it, The only thing I would have liked to see was an epilogue or a little longer story, Thank you Tina Leonard!
