I haven't read the first two books of the series, with what little of the world is mentioned here, rather than a world where shifters are a minority trying to fit into a human world, it seems the world, as far as concerns this book, is made up of strictly bear shifters.
With that in mind, it was a fine short read, though that length limits what goes on between Brody and Ryker, and it felt that some development of their characters had

been shorted.
The thing is, I think I could very easily enjoy these series, But for one I think we need to have more pages, more explanations instead of just little hints as to why mates are running off their mates, We haven't had much of an explanation so far, World building also counts for a lot for me, but there's a very distinct lack of female characters in this world Where are they

Some of the sex in the first three books has been kind of hot, but it's not making up for everything else I feel is missing.
I do want to read more of this series, but I need something more, because even when I'm reading for fun, knowing what to expect and exactly what the book will give me which is what I want!, but I still need that more.
