Taita master of life Hands down the best books I have ever read, One of, if not, the best book series I have read to date, Smith is following this series up with a new title 'Desert God' out Septemberth, Wilbur Smith Egyptian series quartetbooks River God / The Seventh Scroll / Warlock / The Quest Nothing compares with Wilbur Smith and his talent of describing Africa.
His books are AMAZING. Loved the way he described the Ancient Egypt, Loved the main character Taita, Loved the Egyptian series of books each a great read with good pacing, This entire series is wonderfully written, This is my favorite series of Wilbur Smith, His historical novels bring life to a place that many will never see, One of the best authors ever, Never a dull boring moment, I read the first three books years ago and loved them allstar ratings, However, I only found The Quest quite recently and was a bit disappointed would have only given it atostar.
Overall though I have thoroughly enjoyed the series, I couldn't put this series down! I was sucked right into the era and was swept along and loved every minute of it.
These were the first books I ever read of Wilbur Smith and I dare say, weren't the last I enjoyed the series, the movie sort of diverted from the book slightly.
