Redeem: to set free rescue or ransom to save from a state of sinfulness and its consequences

For Ryker and Faith, the main characters in Stacey Lynns newest release Point of Redemption, the idea of being redeemed is a complicated idea.
One sees himself as the man who went back on a promisethe man who, when things got tough, ran away without understanding everything that went downthe man who took innocent lives.
And, while all of those statements may be true, Rykers also the man who wants to free the girl he lost and show her that shes not the woman she was forced to become.
The other sees herself as a pawna woman who is forced to use her body as paymenta woman who has nothing to give to anyone because everythings already been taken away from her.
But, Faith is also the woman who wants to be loved and saved by the one man who promised her the world.

Ryker and Faiths road to redemption is not going to be an easy one, Not when a rival MC owns Faith, and the shame and regret they both have has been eating away at them for the lastyears.
But readers also know, just from a bit of insight in Book, that both Ryker and Faith are extremely strong characters who will fight like hell to protect those they love, and now more than ever, they need to step up for themselves and each other and save one another from the bad hands theyve been dealt.

Ryker is a complicated man his demons taunt him on a daily basis, and no matter how much he tries to put his life in Jasper Bay behind him, it still has a strong hold on him, and when Daemon needs him to come home, Ryker decides its time to stop running and face the past that torments him.
Because readers get his first hand perspective, its easy to see the battle hes having within himself as he tries to right his wrongs with not only Faith but Byrons family as well.
Hes tearing himself in two trying to be everything to everyone, but what he doesnt realize is that he just needs to be the man Faith fell in love with and the friend to Meg and Brayden he promised to be.
Its a beautiful sight when Ryker takes back the control and does what he needs to do in order to feel redeemed.
Ryker is such a great character hes passionate and fierce protective and loyal, and to see how he transforms from the beginning of the text until the end is a great sight to behold.

Faithshes been dealt a crap hand in life, and she did the best she could to survive it.
I cant blame her for wanting to give up or putting on a front to protect herself, Shes been beaten physically and mentally for a lot of years, and she has nothing left to give anyone.
To be able to get past what shes had to endure is going to take a lot of help from those who truly love her thankfully, Ryker and Liv will be there to help her every step of the way, so as long as shes willing to accept the help and heal, shell make it out on the other end stronger and whole.

Point of Redemption is a fantastic story about love, forgiveness, and recovery, Faith and Rykers relationship is at the heart of the text, but the book also focuses on the Nordic Lords themselves and the steps they need to take to put their club back on track and rid themselves of at least one enemy.
The story is gritty, raw, heartbreaking, and steamy its a second chance romance that includes action and angst, and I cant wait for the next installment.

poison apples The Fairest of All Book s Two people have suffered, Faith was sold by her addict mother to a motorcycle club to be used as a whore in exchange for drugs.
Five years ago, Faith was in love with her fiancé Ryker who left town and broke all the promises her made her.
Ryker left town after accidentally killing his father and believing that Faith betrayed him, He has returned at his brother's request to assist in some serious matters facing the MC his family was a part of and those close to his brother.
When he sees that the woman he still loves is being abused and enslaved, he fights to correct the wrongs of the past five years and get her back with him where she belongs.

This book picks up where we are left after Point of Return, We learn more about both Faith and Ryker's past and then get to see a couple bits of the story we know from Point of Return from their perspectives.
It is obvious that both Faith and Ryker are both sad and furious about how their lives went in directions they didn't want and never expected.
It is also obvious that they both love each other a lot, It was nice to see Ryker try so hard to get Faith out of trouble and take his time to let her make her own decisions.
It was good to see Faith be helped by people who care about her and risked a lot to make sure she was safe.
There is all kinds of high drama here that can be expected from the lifestyles these people lead.
They are rough and tough and do some crazy things, but it is hard not to get caught up in their stories and cheer them on.
It was nice to touch base with Liv and Daemon again and to see what their lives look like now.
This book was a nice sequel to the first in the series and I look forward to reading the next book.

loved by Ryker, her knight in shining armor.
Ryker was just another disappointment in a long line of disappointments in her life, She lost the only man that ever loved her, . . her dad, and her mom was a poor excuse for a mom, Ryker promised to be the man to give her everything and protect her, He didn't keep good on his promises, He Walked Away without a word, She was in love once, Now she was a shell, Doing her job, living a life where people used her, nobody cared, she just took one day at a time and existed.

Nobody told Ryker Knight what happened to Faith, nobody told Ryker Knight that Faith belonged to the rival motorcycle club.
She was theirs and nobody could save her, She lives, but her life means nothing, it's blank, just like her eyes, Where they were once like the sparkle of a diamond, they are empty and cold, emotionless, She suffers alone, expects nothing, nobody can help her,

Ryker, he saw things different back then, What went wrong Why did she deceive him, why would she turn to the their rivals He needed answers and he only had a short time to get those answers before he returned to where he was needed the most.

He saw the devastation that became of Faith's life and he wanted to help, He owed her that. He loved her once.

He made mistakes, . . in the past and now,

How does Ryker fix them

No one knew the devastation of those three words more than Faith Winston and five years ago, she endured every one of them.
All she wanted was to feel safe and marry the very man who promised to love her and protect her, Ryker Knight.

But growing up in the Nordic Lords Motorcycle Club, she should have known she couldnt have a happy ending.
Instead, her world became a nightmare, The bikersher familyabandoned her, leaving her to crash without their safety net,

Ryker Knight has spent the last five years consumed with guilt, running from the ghosts that haunt him.
That is until his past catches up with him the moment his brother needs his help, Returning home to Jasper Bay, hes forced to face the same ghosts he was running from, Only to find that the woman he loved is trapped in a hell of her own, entrenched behind enemy lines and its all his fault.

And even though Rykers life comes with priorities that he cant and wont turn his back on, he refuses to leave Jasper Bay until hes found Faith.

But will she want to return to the life shes always wanted even if Ryker is no longer capable of giving her what he once promised
“Epic love like yours is simply meant to be”

I would definitely say that what Faith and Ryker has is an epic love.
Having grown up together they were each others first and only loves, when they were old enough Ryker finally got Faith to agree to marry him and they had dreams of a happy future together.
Then one night changed all of that resulting in Ryker leaving town and Faith being sold to a rival club, leaving both to think they had been betrayed by the other.
Five years later and Ryker returns to town to help his brother and he learns of what Faiths life has become, he instantly knows he needs to get her free and has no choice but to return home to get back the woman he still loves.
It is clear from the first time they see each other again afteryears that there is still love between them and you know they are meant to be.
I really liked following their journey back to one another,

I fell in love with Ryker in Point of Return I mean come on, any guy, particularly a big bad biker, who gets down to play blocks with ayr old will win me over every time! and was excited to get more of him in this book.
Hes carrying around a lot of guilt over what happened to his father, then his friends death on the oil rig and later over whats become of Faiths life.
But all of that guilt makes him extremely loyal and wanting to do the right thing, I really liked his relationship with Meg and Brayden, he was so incredibly sweet and caring with Brayden and he needed Megs presence in his life to help talk some sense in him to go back and fight for Faith.
Once he learned the truth of what happened the night he left Faith, he vows to do whatever he can to make it right and win her back.
I loved this loyalty and possessiveness, He was so tender with Faith as she began to heal from her whole ordeal, it totally melted my heart.

Faiths circumstances broke my heart, she was so defeated and broken, my heart just went out to her The truth was sometimes life gave people lemons, and they made lemonade.
Life gave me a handful of rinds, seeds, and pulp, and I made the most of the crap hand I was dealt.
She doesnt know what to think when Ryker shows up on his white horse to save her, she doesnt want to lose him again but shes afraid that after all shes been through that there just isnt anything left to give anyone “I get it, you know,” she said softly as she reached the doorway.
“I get why you were messed up and why you left, You dont owe me an apology, But for years I waited for you to show up and save me, ” A tear fell down her cheek before she wiped it away, “Theres nothing left to save, Ryker, ”. But as the story went on I think Faith found that she is stronger than she gave herself credit for.
It was great watching her regain her spirit and start to live again, I really felt her transformation.

I liked how the timeline of the story started towards the middle of the events in Point of Return, it was cool being able to see some of the events from a different point of view and filling in the blanks of some of the events from the last book like when Ryker made an appointment to see Faith when she was still working at Pennys.
It overlapped but didnt feel repetitive, This could be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading Point of Return first because a lot happens with Liv and Daemon, including the awesome epilogue that might spoil the first book for you if you havent read it.

I thought the first book was good, but I thought this book was even better and I look forward to seeing what in store next for the Nordic Lords and their women!

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
