Find The Beatrix Potter Collection: Volume Two Edited By Beatrix Potter Textbook
have now read both volume one and two and I must say I am not a Beatrix Potter fan, Maybe it has to do with the fact I'm reading the majority of the stories as an adult and therefore know exactly what I'm reading and what it all means but I can honestly say I would never read these stories to my children.
Such a quick and delightful read, So adorable. ltAs I have already reviewed the first volume of this wonderful little collection there is not much else to expand on this one, The fact that it includes even more Beatrix Potter animal stories, including my favourite 'The Tale of Mrs TiggyWinkle, means that I undoubtedly enjoyed reading it, These stories are so weird!! If you think about it, when all the characters are animals, and they eat bacon, eggs and butter, isn't that canibalism Compared to the tales in volume one, these ones are less cute I thought.
And one of them made me laugh although if you think about it it was a cruel comment, because it mentioned some pigs living in a farm, minding their own business and having a prosperous life, until they ended up being bacon.
I was not expecting that comment at all, Not from Beatrix Potter at least,
But the stories are pretty much the same as all the others, Just some random tales of animals you can find in the country, Some were really cute, like the mouse who travelled in a hamper all the way to the city and then back to the country, And others were a bit more strange like the pig one, Good books if you're looking for a really quick read, something light for a quiet afternoon, Super cute and nostalgic! Such a delight to read! I liked the stories in this book even more than the previous one, So many good, funny, and heartwarming stories here, Love them so much :D it bothers me that all i pictures are in black lines
and it only has one of my favs The second volume of the Beatrix Potter Collection is even better than the first.
The stories are funnier, longer and most of them are suitable for older children and adults, They deal with varied issues and the problem inherent to writing stories about a world where animals and humans coexist are not avoided I am mainly referring to the nonvegetarian practices of humanity.
Most stories are to be approached as cautionary tales, so that unruly children, or even elderly rabbit know what they are not supposed to do,
The illustrations are lovely, even if they are in black and white, For the unbelievably reasonable price thesebooks were marketed for, the reader can very well use their imagination to uncover Miss Potter's brilliance,
I highly recommend this book to anyone who truly wishes to be entertained, and to parents who are very skilled in adaptations when reading bedtime stories, A great easy read! I love the classic stories as they are sweet and lovely, They are simple, plus the illustrations were great, I liked Volume one better but it was still a cute read,,Stars
Really cute pictures but the stories were a bit weird, . .
The only one I really liked was 'The Tale of Little Pig Robinson', ,
The Tale of Mrs TiggyWinkle/
The Tale of Samuel Whiskers or the RolyPoly Pudding/
The Tale of Flopsy Bunnies/
The Tale of Ginger and Pickles,/
The Tale of Mrs Tittlemouse/
The Tale of Timmy Tiptoes,/
The Tale of Mr Tod/
The Tale of Johnny Town Mouse,/
The Tale of Little Pig Robinson/
Cecily Parsleys Nursery Rhymes/
The Tale of Little Pig Robinson.
I prefer the first volume, the picture also better in the first : Masih lucu dan menggemaskan dengan ilustrasinya, tetapi, entah kenapa lebih seru volume pertamanya, The first volume is even better, Yeah, I think so! Cecily Parsley's Nursery Rhymes Beatrix Potter is such a childhood icon for many people in the world.
She was one of the first authors I read very frequently and I still love her stories to this very day, Theremaining stories that make out thend volume of the Beatrix Potter collection are indeed weaker in comparison with the other, Of course, the flaws of volume one persist into thend one: If you're looking for the Beatrix Potter collection in colour, you may be dissapointed to find that this is not it.
For each individual rating and, by case, review, please search for each book in particular, Stories for three years old, I wouldn't mind being that old right now and having someone read them to me, reading rush
read a book in the same space
these books were so quick to read and such innocent fun, i liked the first book more when it comes to stories and i think the one about the pig should have been looked into and redacted so it would work better for the format it takes up quite a chunk of the book, where i personally didn't feel like it needed to.
