Catch Hold Of Ring On Her Finger Assembled By Lisa Swinton File Format Leaflet

on Ring on Her Finger

great book by Lisa Swinton, This story is all about emotions and the way the characters choose to handle them, or to hide from them in Amandas case.
When Amanda wakes up in a Vegas hotel room married to Blake, her instinct is to run.
Blake hurt Amanda terribly in the past and she cant believe he has changed, Blake agrees to an annulment, though its not something he really wants, His parents cut him off financially when they find out about the Vegas wedding, Blake ends up at the home of Amandas parents, He gets a job and proceeds to try to earn his way back into Amandas heart, Blake is really a stand up guy, who realizes he made a mistake with his careless treatment of Amanda years before.
He truly loves her. Amanda appears hardhearted through much of this story, but it is a carefully crafted facade erected to protect her heart from being broken again.
The ending of the book is truly satisfying, This seemingly incompatible couple does find their happily ever after, Truly a wonderful story that you will want to keep to read again,

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is a book I was looking forward to reading, From the blurb I knew the plot would be fraught with misunderstanding and hold undercurrents of romantic tension.
Both are things that I love when working through a romance book, This romance book is clean yay!

Honestly, I didn't really like Amanda, I never really got what Blake could see in her to keep coming back for more and more abuse.
Amanda is mean to him, Like mean, mean. Yeah, she was hurt, but she holds onto that like a lifeline, It was almost too much to the point where I wanted to strangle her because my eyes were sore from rolling them so much.
Blake is obviously sorry. He says it, he shows it, He tries to overcome it but Amanda is so very stubborn, And did I mention mean Mostly I just felt sorry for Blake and if it were real life, I would say that Blake has a tough marriage road ahead of him with a girl that cannot forgive and delves into so much meanness when she gets hurt.
The way she made Blake grovel was insane,

Okay, so the Amanda tirade is over now, I did really enjoy Blake, I thought he was a good, strong character, He made some mistakes but he was honest and upfront, He worked hard to prove himself and he tried really hard to extend kindness to others in every situation.
The man should be named Saint Patience, He was the character that made this book good, Thank goodness for Blake.

The ending was swoon worthy because of Blake, Hopeless romantic. I'll take a Blake ending any day of the week, : Very romantic. And sweet beyond measure. I loved the ending. DNF. Turned out to be a young adult book, An immature young adult book, Heartwarming clean read

Sometimes our Plan has to change, Its not always a bad thing, unless we are too stubborn to allow for small changes in that plan.
Like falling in love. Blake was an adorable character that I wondered how she could possibly resist him, I know I wouldnt have.
A definite must read. Cute

a few editing/continuity errors in the copy I received

Content: no language, lots of talk of sex but no actual sex scene, some innuendo This book got me so angry.
This girl was not serious, She did not deserve him and I wished he realized that he was better off without her and move on.

Amanda St. Clair had a "What happens in Vegas" moment when she married the rich playboy, Blake Worthington, whom she loathed for the past four years.
Having the worst hangover of her life was not helping matters and all Amanda wanted was out of this so call marriage.

With a promise to have the marriage annulled from her "husband", Amanda returns home, praying for this to end with noone finding out about her stupid mistake.

Her mistake was not so easily solved when Blake showed up on her doorstep, claiming that his parents cut him off and he has to pay for the annulment himself.

Not wanting the spoiled rich kid to mingle with her family, but seeing as how she has no choice, she reluctantly allows Blake to stay.

As the weeks went by and Blake did not go running back to his parents, Amanda sees a new side of Blake that she never knew existed.
Now she finds herself wanting their marriage to be real but can she really trust Blake with her heart

Lisa Swinton wrote a book that had tears of pain streaming down my face.
I felt for Blake, his family is messed up and unhappy, Whoever said that money can buy you happiness never met Blake's family, I can understand how Blake acted the way he did but for the life of me, I cannot, in no way, understand Amanda.

Amanda grew up with loving parents, awesome brothers and sisters and a neighborhood that knew and loved everybody.
I do not understand how she could have turned out to be such a royal pain in the a.

Because of something that happened four years ago, Amanda has condemned Blake to be a jerk for the rest of his life.
No matter how much evidence showed that he is an AMAZING guy, at every chance she gets, she turns on him and makes him feel inadequate.

She knows that his life is in ciaos right now, she knows how much pain he's in but does she care, NO.
All she cares about is herself, Her mom, father, brother, sister and best friend told her to give him a chance, but she has already written him off and wants him gone.

Even when she realized that she loved him do you think that she would go after him, well thing again! I cannot give away too much but just know Blake was a sweetheart and Amanda was a complete BTH.

The book was fun to read but not constant, Nothing in Amanda's past could explain her extreme lack of trust and empathy for others and that had Amanda in a bad light or me.
If there was just something to fully explain the extreme to which Amanda took in pushing Blake away, and one kiss is not a good enough reason for me.

I had a nice time reading this book and hope Blake comes to his senses and dump her, but it does not seem as if that is going to happen.

HAPPY READING!
This story was very interesting and at times confusing,
I liked the story about Amanda and Blake even though at times I wanted to shake Amanda.

Blake was persistent almost to the point of being a wuss,
That said I had to see the story unfold,
Finally at the end I really enjoyed this book,
Lisa Swinton went out of the box with this one and it worked This is a great story that has a crazy beginning and has a wonderful end.
It begins with Amanda getting drunk in Las Vegas and waking up finding out she is married to Blake Worthington the boy who broke her heart their freshman year at college! The first thing she wants to do is get it annulled.
She has plans and it does not include being married, She is going to Africa to save babies, But the problem is he loves her, and he continues to try and show her how much he has changed.
But she is very stubborn, All of the extra characters are wonderful, The author shows both sides of the family in great detail, Very wonderful story. I enjoyed it very much, I was given a free ebook copy in exchange for an honest review,
Lisa Swinton's Ring on Her Finger, is a fun fast paced romantic story about Amanda St Clair a straight laced young woman who has just finished at University and she plusfriends spent a week in Las Vegas! Now the book starts with her waking up in a room she has no idea how she got there and she's married but it is not just that she has forgotten but the whole night! Then sees that the man she's married is the last man on Earth playboy billionaire's son Blake Worthington, whom she kissed in freshman year and he proceeded to kiss other girls etc.
and he was her first love and he broke her heart! So she is trying to sneak out and he wakes up and Amanda demands an annulment now!
All because he broke her heart and she will Never Forgive Him.

Ms Swinton has written an awesome book that has Amanda with her life all mapped out with her going to Africa to nurse foryears so being married especially is out of the question and thence we have a real delight with her love/hate relationship with Blake there are lots of really interesting situations that happen between her and Blake.
Blake is the love part of the relationship and he will work hard and do anything to stay married to her.

Amanda goes home in California as does Blake in Texas where his family live in Worthington Mansion but his family just call it the Mansion, when his father receives the bill for the wedding rings, wedding, and divorce attorney's bill kicks him out and cuts him off.
.
So Blake shows up at Amanda's house because he has no where else to go and to make matters worse her mother and father let him stay in the guest room in the basement because he is her husband and they will not turn him away like his family because they are a good christian family.

I loved Blake, the playboy billionaire's son who turns into a hard working devoted husband, who so wanted to prove to Amanda that he was not the same inconsiderate boy who broke her heart that freshman year.
He does some really character changes in his life to win her like working at the local animal shelter doing all the dirty workAmanda got him the job hoping he would leave and then he organizes a big Charity Fundraiser for the Shelter on Julyrd which is a great success.

Throughout the book Amanda is adamant that she wants that annulment, even though she has some softening of her heart Blake, she will not let herself feel or live life.
She is so stuck to
Catch Hold Of Ring On Her Finger Assembled By Lisa Swinton File Format Leaflet
her plan that she has no 'wiggle' room to do anything at all she has made her plan and that's it!!
Throughout the book she also does not have time to consider that she might in fact love the man that he is becoming.

I loved Amanda's fun, fast and furious brothers Rich,Josh, and James the twins, . with all the hijinx that they get Blake to participate in like the greased pig chase at the fair, where Amanda is so concerned over his broken ribs! While still pretending that she has no feelings or wants any for him!
I also loved Amanda's parents Bill and Jenny, who are real family oriented normal people who reminded me of my own parents who also are good church going ones, thus letting Blake stay with them until he gets on his feet and wins Amanda's affections.

Alison, Amanda's best friend forever, is a voice of reason and reminds me of Jiminy Cricket her conscience who is always around with her brand new boyfriend so maybe that relationship impresses Amanda and causes her to react to Blake with her body and mind, before she realizes that Blake has changed how she perceives him.

I did not like the Worthington family, especially Rex, Blake's father for his insensitive, inhumane treatment and name calling!! Blake's mother and sister were spoiled rich, inconsiderate people with their treatment of Amanda.

As for Vivian who is an unspeakable horrid character but we have to have some I suppose!
Some things I loved were the 'scream therapy' and the line dancing in Amanda's home city.
Blake's beautiful picnic in Texas,
I loved this upbeat fun fast paced romance it was very impressive, I really liked and enjoyed it a great deal.

Free preview copy for an honest review, This sounded like an entertaining, dramafilled read from the summary, and it was! Amanda wakes up in Las Vegas after a night of drinking with a hangover and learns she has married Blake Worthington, a rich playboy she dated briefly four years earlier.
She is appalled and immediately asks for an annulment, He agrees but when he gets home, things become complicated and it's going to be a while before he can keep his agreement.
He goes to Amanda's house and things get more complicated since she hasn't told her parents she's married!

Amanda was hard to like.
She doesn't like Blake and can't seem to forgive him for something he did four years earlier.
She's not willing to take any sort of chance and isn't going to allow him to interfere with her life plans.
I liked her a little more as the story progressed, but didn't end up being a big fan of hers.
Blake is likable from the beginning, He doesn't act like a playboy but it's really more of a reputation he has at this point.
He tries to make amends with Amanda over and over and over, I did enjoy their scenes together because there was lots of drama but really didn't understand why he was chasing her so hard.

I loved Amanda's family, They were understanding and took Blake in and treated him well, Blake's family has some issues that they're working through and he feels a difference when he's with Amanda's family.

There were parts of this that I didn't find completely believable but I was entertained the entire time and kept reading to see what would happen next.
I loved the endingit was so romantic! This is the first book I've read by this author and I am interested in reading more of her work!

I received a copy of this to review.
My opinion ismy own,
