Fun and educational - good, wholesome reading for the little 'uns. 😇
Nah, seriously. I read this book to bits when I was a kid. (I was going through my Ancient Egypt phase - nuff said!) Revisiting it twenty-odd years later, the puzzles are simple enough, but there are enough things to keep track of - all those animals! - that it will keep kids and adults occupied for a good while. I still love all the lively Scoular Anderson drawings - my favourite is that one guy in the sedan chair, who's living his worst life in every scene!
