She falls in love with the big blue skies and the beautiful landscapes, but she knows it’s only temporary. Then she meets big, gruff cowboy, Andrew O’Connor and almost everything she thought she knew about herself crumbles as she fights her attraction for the wary Texan.
Andrew has nothing but contempt for city girls and he immediately classifies Emily as one and wants nothing to do with her. Yet one gaze from her beautiful eyes and he finds himself questioning his biases and preconceived notions.
Emily and Andrew are perfect for each other, but there are too many obstacles on their way. When Emily’s time in Texas ends, will they be able to break through past hurts and fight for the love of a lifetime?

Texas Heat Box Set: Books 4-6 (Texas Heat #4-6) Reviews

This is the second set of books for the Texas Heat series, and it continues to captivate and entertain. These books are a little more romantically charged to me, love the heat, passion and love felt between this set of characters. We get to meet Amanda, childhood sweetheart of black sheep Jordan O'Connor who has her own secrets. This couple is full of chemistry from the start, but the hurdles they need to get over are high. Next is Honey and Caleb, a high powered business couple, and when they put their brains together are like dynamite. Their passion is high too giving them a combustible story. Lastly, and my favorite is Andrew and Emily. I have been waiting for Andrew to find his woman, he always has the ranch on his mind first. So happy he found his happily ever after. Amelia Rose has a hit with this contemporary, western romance series with heart, family and love.
Charles D Baker continues to narrate the series with the genuine sound I have become familiar with for these characters. He is well suited for the western romance and provides a heart warming performance. -
Western Hearts..
- Hopeless Hearts: Texas Heat, Book 4 by Amelia Rose
Amanda returns home after being away for awhile and runs into someone from her past.
The story line includes a decision to make, a secret and a side of romance.
- Hidden Desires: Texas Heat, Book 5 by Amelia Rose
This has a female afraid to get hurt and one determined to change her mind.
- Rescued Hearts: Texas Heat, Book 6 by Amelia Rose = 4 stars
Both leads have been hurt and are grieving in their own ways.
Emily has lost someone that was close and Andrew has an aversion.
Overall, this three book bundle was short, sweet, and filled with romance.
Charles D. Baker did well with the narration.

These stories each are differant but carry the family theme. Tha stories are all well developed with believable characters on a Texas Homestead. They are stories of family, hardwork, a little drama, and finding love. Charles Baker does the narration and maintains your interest. I enjoyed these books and recommend them.
