The Crags of Loch Crian Reviews
-
The Crags of Loch Crian is the second installment in the Jim Drake Mystery series. Shortly after 12-year-old Jim arrives at the infamous "Black Castle" on the west coast of Scotland in June 1931 to spend time with his father, who is giving fencing lessons to the castle owner, another guest at the castle dies in a climbing accident. Jim is not convinced it was an accident and ends up involved in uncovering the truth. I particularly enjoyed the setting of the novel, both the different technology and life in rural Scotland.
