Fun art.
One highlight is the showdown between Venom and Ghost Rider, Very visceral and beautiful.
The stories, however, are confusing and so verys in a bad way, I had to force myself through much of this convoluted, magical mess, Very nice collection of this restart of many of thes Marvel supernatural characters, Good art and story. Recommended Way too's/late's for me!! As a kid, I looked forward to this for months, . . and was let down, big time, Cant say the years have been kind to it either, It did reintroduce Morbius and Blade, but ooof, Tomo integral en tapa blanda que recopila Ghost Rider,Ghost Rider/Blaze: Spirits of VengeanceMorbius: the Living VampireDarkhold: Pages From the Book of SinsNightstalkersWeb of SpiderMany material de Midnight Sons Unlimited, más entrevistas y extras originalmente publicados en Marvel Age Numberagostomás un par de pinups.
Evenwould feel a TOUCH on the generous side, This had its moments but most of it was as mediocre as they come, The story is difficult to follow and feels both incomplete and drawn out at the same time,

A solid volume collecting Marvel'ss first supernatural characters crossover launching its new horror titles riding on the wave of success of Howard Mackie's Ghost Rider, and the infamous/popular Spidey/Venom/Spirits of Vengeance extra cheesy one.
Some dialogues and storylines aged not much well, but Mackie's version of the flaming skull byker is still the best and creepiest one of the character in my opinion, Kubert brothers artworks arepure eyecandy awesomess, Doctor Strange never was so edgy and manipulative like here, Len Kaminsky and Ron Wagner's fetish Morbius was a really good relaunch of Marvel's Living Vampire Wagner is an A artist and it seems he had some problems with Comics Code Authority because of some too much explicit sex artworks while working on Morbius series, and the final story from the Midnight Sons Unlimited magazine illustrated by Klaus Janson is a disturbing horror small gem.
'Nuff said, This is a great trade paperback for all Ghost Rider fans, It contains all the issues for the "Rise of the Midnight Sons" story arc as well as the Spirits of Vengeance/SpiderMan crossover.
Come diceva Kirby: "Comics will break your heart, kid, "./
This is an anthology , so of course its a mixed bag, The Morbius story was cool, the venom and spiderman story was cool and all, but the mainpart story with Lilith was lame.
What a lame villain who was just evil for the sake of evil with no interesting character whatsoever, Blade and the Nightstalkers were neat but Johnny Blaze and Ghost Rider are just kind of bland uninteresting machos characters with no depth or personality.
It gets three for the art, the side characters were more interesting than the main characters and thats always a problem for me.
I dont think Ill read to many more Ghost Rider comics, but at least the SpiderMan story was cool so it wasnt a complete waste of my money.
A wild ride to hell sos, you can just feel it, A lot of fun at the beginning but this went on longer than it needed to, Not every tie in was great, some were a slog to finish, Read it on Halloween weekend, so it was extra fun! Howard Mackie is an American comic book editor and writer.
