A London Season Reviews

Although best known for her German to English translations, Bell's careful attention to language gave her great skill in conveying the nuances of Regency England in this delightful romance.

This is a book that I found at an estate sale, and I was excited because I was feeling some Georgette Heyer vibes from that cover and synopsis.
I was right - this was a clean read.
I loved the plot and I really enjoyed the characters. I loved the older brother, the younger sister, and felt real kinship towards the governess/chaperone girl. The villain was realistic, but that ending was a bit odd to me.
