My fiancé is the greatest guy ever.

Noah is sweet, he’s ridiculously sexy, he’s teaching my headstrong first grader how to read, and even his snoring is at an acceptable level of loudness. I can’t wait to marry this man. There’s only one thing that can stop us from living happily ever after:

My ex-husband, Theo.

Theo was a terrible husband and worse father. But now he’s back in my life, and no matter what I say, he can’t accept the fact that I’m marrying another man. Theo is desperate to get his family back.

And he’s not going down without a fight.

This is Book 2 in the Perfect Guy series.

My Perfect Fiancé (Perfect Guy, #2) Reviews

I freaking loved this book. The first in the series, Perfect Ex-Boyfriend is one of my favorite reads. Noah is just so masculine, sexy, yet the right amount of soft and kind and caring when needed. He's the full package (well, minus two legs, but still, that doesn't diminish his sex appeal at ALL). He's definitely in the book-boyfriend hall of fame.

I was so excited for this sequel and Annabelle did not disappoint. We get to watch as our favorite couple Bailey and Noah grow closer as a couple and prepare to walk down the aisle and become a family. (Also, side note: Most EPIC proposal ever.)

Noah adores Lily, and wants to be her father, problem is, she's got a father, but not a great one. As much as he despises Theo, Noah constantly tries to take the high road and do what is in the best interest of his soon to be stepdaughter. The moments between Noah and Lily are sweet and tender as we watch him dive into fatherhood. Swoon worthy. (Again Book Boyfriend hall of fame worthy.)

The author handles the trials and tribulations of trying to navigate the murky waters of a blended family, something a majority of people these days can relate to. I've been that single mom, burnt out, exhausted of doing it all alone then suddenly trying to figure out how the ex-husband and new father both work together, and what is best for the child. It's not easy. That's what made this book so real.

Theo's presence in their lives put a serious strain on Noah and Bailey's relationship. There were times my heart broke as both Noah and Bailey messed it all up, even though they were both just trying to do what is best. Thankfully though, love prevails.

Great story. Great plot. Amazing characters. Once again Annabelle knocks it out of the park.

For people like me that love this genre so much Annabelle Costa is a one-click. I love the writing style of this author so much (and I guess I told her that already like - probably pretty much with every review #lol). Also this book did not disappoint. I feel like I would repeat myself saying I loved this and that about it .

In case you are wondering why only 4 Stars ? - well basically because the author did a great job -lol- To explain: I need to feel for and with the characters when I read a book - and doing that I need to love the plot to give a book 5 stars. Usually, I do that by placing myself in the role of the female lead while reading and I am looking at the story through her eyes. Lets be honest that is what reading romance is about (well at least for me)

So what happend ? Well Ms. Costa told a great story with well developed characters BUT to tell that specific story she had to place her characters in certain sitations causing the characters to react and ME? while I was in my imaginary role of Bailey - well I disliked myself #hahahaha (DON'T LAUGH) and sorry Ms. Costa but I freaking despised Theo.

So you did well #hahahah ....

Only in the end looking back I can not get over Bailey not even sure why - #sigh hmm no thats not true - I do know why but to explain I would have to list all the things that happend and I am not into spaming plot therefore there will be no details on this from me - if it helps ... I loved Noah with the same passion with which I despised Theo ....

Such a cute story! It's crazy the drama these two had to overcome. But their love was amazing. I can only hope there's another book in the series sometime in the future!

This is a great flow up to My Perfect Ex Boyfriend. I felt it was a bit rushed at the end and it could have stretched out a bit. I like that we found out more about the characters. Theo was a pain and I don’t think anyone worth their salt would give him the time of day. Other twists developed which I did t see coming so I really enjoyed the journey. I have one little niggle and it is purely selfish - I wanted to have them go back to the cabin as I really enjoyed
My holiday with them in the first book. There was no mention at all of the cabin so that disappointed me a bit.

I really hope there is going to be a book three, even if it is to catch up with them down the line. The parents marriage could be on the rock and it could cause friction between Noah and Bailey, Noah’s situation could get worse, they could have their three kids and Noah has to learn techniques to cope parenting them all.

It is safe to say I enjoyed living with this little family and don’t want to let go of them. Really recommend reading both books, in order to get double the pleasure.

    Solid 4 1/2 stars

I have to admit i liked my perfect ex boyfriend a little more than this one. I think there were funnier moments in it. However, this was still good. I think you can get away with out treading ex boyfriend, but it gives you all the back story of Noah and Bailey's relationship. There were parts in this one that made me want to scream set these two,but it does have a happy ending. I really like this authors books, so if you like this one, check out a few others. She always has a main character with a disability, which is unusual, but always well done

I liked this book but definitely didn't love it like I did the first. Bailey really frustrated me in this one. I don't understand how she didn't realize that regardless of their relationship at the moment that Noah wouldn't have insecurities about her and her loser ex. The guy is actively trying to sabotage their relationship and she thinks it's a good idea to keep things from him? She let's him use their child to manipulate her and instead of growing a spine and actually being firm Lily, she just gives in and agrees to dinner so she won't whine. The whole reason Lily is the way she is, is because instead of holding steady Bailey just gives into her tantrums and that sets a precedent.

Noah, instead of talking to Bailey about his insecurities makes a dumb decision and risks everyone's happiness for "good intentions" honestly I could see his point but at the same time he knew Theo was still a loser and that his so-called realization about how pathetic he is wasn't going to last. He is a manipulative jerk and that will never change.

Overall it was ok but I hated their lack of communication. Noah's father returning seemed tacked on and unnecessary but whatever, I think he would've come to the realization that he had made a huge mistake without him.

My takeaways from this book, Noah and Bailey really need to be open and honest with each other, Theo is still a loser and always will be, Lily is an annoying brat and Bailey needs to really do better with her.

    More like 2.5 stars

My main gripes of B1 are more or less the focus of B2– Theo and Lily.

Bailey and Noah also got dumber for no other reason than the plot demanding it.

  • Aimee

Noah's absolutely perfect. He lives up to the title. and I LOVE that this is a dual POV with Bailey and Noah. I enjoyed this series but I definitely loved this book more than the first. The dual POV narration was done really well and I loved seeing Noah's perspective. I get why the first book was only Bailey's POV because it'll make you appreciate their story and journey.

Although this is a romance novel, I think that Bailey and Noah's relationship is outshined by Noah and Lily's relationship. With Noah's POV, we get to see his determination to be a better father and partner after his personal experiences. My heart breaks for Noah when he struggled to find his place as a future stepfather/father figure to Lily. It was interesting to see the parallels between Bailey and her daughter Lily as they sort out their relationships with the two men: Noah and Theo. My love for Lily and Noah's story grew even more as I read the author's acknowledgement and her personal connection to these characters.

A realistic "what happens after the happy ending" story. Bailey and Noah reunite and all seems good except how can it be lollipops and roses when there's a really jerky ex and a fairly spoiled and manipulative child (I was team Noah on that one) and one partner is forced to live with the challenges of being a double amputee? There was real stuff in here and Bailey still annoyed me by not putting her foot down enough. But, they dealt with it and formed a good team. I appreciated the change of voice between Noah and Bailey in this one.

  • Kari Williams

    Swoon....

God can I love them any more? This book broke my heart and made me feel physically ill and I even cried. I simply can’t imagine the insecurities that such a horrible accident / experience would create. This was so beautifully written and every moment of angst was felt deeply. I hope there will be more written about Bailey and Noah. They are more lovable than any book couple I’ve ever read about.

This is the sequel to “My Perfect Ex-Boyfriend”. In this book, Bailey and Noah were living together with Bailey’s daughter, Lilly. Bailey and Noah loved each other but their lives were complicated by Bailey’s ex-husband, Noah’s insecurities about losing both his legs and raising the pernicious Lilly. I enjoyed the flow of the story and it was well-paced. I found the internal thoughts of Bailey hilarious.

  • Lauren Amandla

    3,5 stars.

It was a very quick and cute read. There aren't a lot of things happening in this story. Technically, it's just little things leading to one big fight. Yet, I was never bored. I finished it in one setting, wanted to find out how it would turn out.

I really love Annabelle's writing. She makes it so easy to connect with the characters. And it's the right amount of romance without being too cheesy.

This is only my second book from bluer, but it will definitely not be my last!

  • Jessica Milam

It’s not as good as the first one but it’s still a great read! I wanted to repeatedly punch Theo in the face for just being the absolute worst human being he could possibly be. All the main characters were driving me insane with their questionable decisions and actions and I just wanted to scream at my screen. I am hoping to see a book #3 and see how the story continues to unfold.

  • Sufenny

At the end of Book#1 Noah and Bailey found their second chance. In this book, their love was facing challenges. It’s not much about what separated them in Book#1, but more about what they want the best for each other. When they were always each other’s THE ONE, there was only Happy-ever-after. Disabled or none-disabled, when it comes to true love, it’s the same for everyone.

  • Jeanie

    Loved it!

Wonderful story. Better than the 1st one. Noah was such a great book boyfriend. Was quite the rollercoaster at times and was really pissed at Bailey at times. Wanted to throttle Theo often. I agree with Noah; Lily needed better boundaries. Lol.

  • Geralyn Corcillo

I liked it even better than the first! Omigosh this book is awesome! The relationship between Noah and Bailey is even more compelling than their getting together. Annabelle Costa is My Perfect Go-to Author for a great read!

  • Courtney Davis

    Perfect ending

This was the perfect ending to this story, although I she writes a follow up for this family. I would love to see what happens when a new baby becomes apart of the family, I think a door was left open for that.
