  My profound hatred of reading activities did not give this book a chance at receiving a high rating. The only reason that I did rate this book as three stars-worthy was due to the fact it kept my spanish skills sharpened over the summer. Any native english speaker who wants to retain their spanish skills might want to take a look at this book.

  I hit the renewal limit on this one before finishing it, because hello, reading in another language takes time and concentration. It was just the right level of difficulty: I knew almost all the words, and was able to focus on basic sentence/thought structure as a result.
