When our fate changed, and our paths crossed again, nothing prepared me for the punch to the heart when I saw him . . . or his anger and bitterness.
He was no longer the boy I once knew, but a hardened Olympic swimmer with life goals that no longer aligned with mine.
All because I lied.
But sometimes, hiding the truth was necessary, especially when it freed someone you loved to reach their aspirations and dreams.
It’s said that time heals all wounds, but what I found was that it can also create an
enemy.
That meant I had a choice.
Apologize to Noah, and possibly let him into my heart again . . . or allow him to live his life without knowing why I walked away. Without knowing that I never actually wanted to leave.

5 stars
I've read most of Jasmin Miller's books and I've enjoyed them all, but this one is by far my favorite. Her best work yet. This book had just the right amount of romance, friendship, emotion and angst. The perfect second chance romance!
She left and never said goodbye. And took my heart with her.
Noah Winters is an Olympic athlete and the love of Chloe Williams life. They were each others everything, but Chloe moved away and Noah was left alone. It's been a decade since they've seen one another, but Chloe is back in town now and wouldn't you know it... fate seems to be intervening because they keep running into one another.
Noah is taking a little break from his rigorous swimming training and ends up spending time with Chloe while on his break. Chloe knows leaving Noah the way she did wasn't right, but she had her reasons and they were good reasons, but telling him she's sorry and why she left the way she did is harder than she anticipated.
This story hit me right in the feels. I felt for Chloe. She had been through so much the past ten years and is incredibly strong. And Noah... what an amazing guy. I adored him. No matter how much time had passed, he couldn't deny that he never truly got over Chloe. They were meant to be.
When done right, I love a second chance romance so much, and this was done so right. Chloe and Noah's story was stunning, inspirational, had the best kind of angst, and a beautiful romance. I highly recommend picking this one up!
“It’s always been you, little bird. Always.”

Second Dive is book three in the Kings of the Water series by Jasmin Miller. I have really been enjoying this series but I think this book is my favorite. It’s a beautiful and inspiring story of getting a second chance at love. These two characters have stolen my heart.
Noah Winters is twenty nine years old and is an Olympic swimmer. He’s close friends with Ryan and Jace whom we met in the first two books. Together with their friend, Hunter, they are known as Kings of the Water. Noah had fallen in love when he was in high school but despite the fact they had planned their lives together, she left and ended things with him. He’s never given his heart to anyone since, he gives every ounce of himself to his swimming. But lately, even that hasn’t been fulfilling him. Something is missing, he just doesn’t know what, and it’s affecting his performance in the water.
Chloe Williams was desperately, hopelessly in love with Noah when they were kids. But sometimes life just doesn’t turn out the way you think it will. She moved away and ended their relationship. What Noah doesn’t know was that she did it for him. Now, ten years later, she has moved back. She hasn’t seen nor spoken to Noah since their relationship ended. But in order to let go of the past, she wants to apologize to him. She’s certain that in doing so, she can finally move on, something she’s never been able to do.
“Sometimes, hope is almost worse than fear because the fall can be so much more dangerous.”
Fate has other plans for these two, throwing them together in the most unexpected of ways, more than once. They are forced to face their past and explanations are given, changing everything. The connection that only your one and only true love has, is still there between them, stronger than ever now that they are adults. But Chloe knows that she still can’t give Noah the life he wants. Can she just enjoy this for a little while before she has to let him go again?
“There’s been so much regret where we’re involved. I don’t want there to be any more. All regret does is eat you from the inside while you try to patch up the holes in your soul faster than new ones can form.”
I really did love this book. Chloe had faced so much during her life already. But through it all, she never lost her smile. She was so strong, such an inspiration. And I loved how Noah wanted to be there for her, be in her life again. He also was at a crossroads in his life, even before Chloe came back into it. Together, they both had to find a new path. The question is, will they take that new path together, or were their paths merely crossing? With every book I read of Jasmin’s, her writing gets better and better. I thought her sexy scenes held so much emotion. I loved watching these two characters turn the page in their lives to start a new chapter. Jasmin truly brought them to life for me and I won’t soon forget them.

The third book from the Kings of the Water was an emotional sports romance read!
The author’s writing was wonderful, there were heartbreaking scenes that touched my heart, and I liked that it was very different from the previous two.
It was a second chance trope, but the second chance for Noah and Chloe came ten years after and their hea had a long and slightly dragging journey.
The bonus chapter was wonderful❣️ -
Welp, first of all, while second chance is one of several sub-genres in romance I read with some frequency, it’s also one I tend to be more of a picky little shit about. lol. There are many avenues the plot for a second chance romance can take & there’s definitely more that I do not care for than I do. What I mean by all of this, here with SD it was ultimately a matter of the book & me not being a match. I’m just not a fan of the whole constant bittersweet thing (I’m assuming that’s the intention at least) nearly from start to finish. For me, it reads like a little black cloud looming over the whole time. I always seem to have a difficult time connecting to these types of stories. I’m not big on the use of the martyr card more than once a book either tbh. So ultimately I’m not going to attempt to dissuade or persuade anyone as this one’s mostly a case of “it’s me, not you”.
On the other side of it though, I did enjoy the first two & I’m curious to see who nabs Hunter in the next. I’m leaning towards that it might be Daisy, Noah’s sister. -
Fresh Meet ⇨ 3 stars.
Secret Plunge ⇨ 3.5 stars.
no cause second chance romances really are MY thing uh
Years ago Noah and Chloe were each other's everything, but suddenly she pulled a disappearing act breaking their hearts in the process. A decade later she's back in town and ready to make amends with her past... if only Noah would give her a chance to explain herself, but he's still too hurt to face her. Too bad that fate continues to throw them together.
So, I have read the other two installments in this series and although I enjoyed them, it was a light and entertaining read, BUT THIS in a word: emotional. Sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes heartwarming. It was still easy and quick to read, but it still had everything you expect in a second chance romance: the little glimpses into the past when they were happy, the breakup, how that shaped them into who they are now, the trust issues and the longing to be with that other person again and a (realistic) happy ending.
I totally recommend it! It was also refreshing that for once it wasn't the man who left the girl moping around, and although they both tried to get on with their lives since the break up they both needed closure due to the uncertain way in which they ended. And the reason why they break up ...painful. There are no miscommunication issues and you can understand the reasoning behind the decisions both of them make in this story, so points for that too.
In general, "Second Dive" is the third installment in the Kings Of The Water series, but I think it can be read as standalone without problems. It's a emotional second chance romance that touches very sensitive topics such as loss, grief and second chances not only romantically speaking, but in life and has trigger warnings at the beginning that you should be aware of before enjoying this book.

This was a second chance romance...that I really liked it!!
It was well written and fast paced!
It was a sweet, a little bit emotional, quick read. -
ARC received for review
Hi! It's me again, the one who hasn't read the first two books. This is a standalone and nothing was confusing or missing by not reading the first two.
Noah and Chloe were high school sweethearts and had their lives mapped out, but then she disappears. Now ten years later she back and wins a date with him in a bachelor auction, but he doesn't know who won him. She apologizes and they start running into each other around town. He finds out why she left and they fall in love again. Then there's another bomb from the past, but they work through that too. There is some help from the previous peeps.
At the end, the author gives a link to a bonus chapter set 8 years in the future...my favorite kind of epilogue. -
When Chloe started volunteering her painting services to the local children’s hospital, the last person she expected to see was Noah, who she broke up with unexpectedly a decade earlier. Now an Olympic swimmer, Noah has done well for himself, but he’s never forgotten Chloe, or the heartbreak that came after their relationship ended.
Noah thought he knew all the answers and felt justified in his anger toward Chloe. But when he finds out the truth of the past, his hurt takes a backseat and he falls in love all over again. Noah knows he should protect his heart, yet he can’t say goodbye to his first and only love.
Second Dive by Jasmin Miller is book 3 in the Kings of the Water series. This was a sweet second chance sports romance with a chronic illness element. I like second chance romance when done well and I feel like this story could’ve benefited from a little more flashbacks/backstory, which I know isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. I liked Chloe & Noah together and their romance definitely worked. Looking forward to book 4! 3.5/5 stars. -
I've been enjoying this series, and it definitely has its twists and turns, but WOW, I was not ready for this one. The emotions are real and I didn't see it coming. And when I say emotions, I mean I felt multiple scenes deep in my bones. Chloe was a wonderful female character, and so very inspirational. Noah is so rough and broody in the beginning, so seeing him open up was so fulfilling. And the chemistry between theses two was HOT. I mean, this book just gave me a spectrum of emotions and I was here for it. I would definitely recommend this series.
-
I‘ve been waiting impatiently for this one since Jasmin revealed it was coming! I just love all her Kings of the water books and characters so I loved getting another couple and to see some of
our favorites again.
This story is about Noah and Chloe who were together 10 years ago but fate had other plans for them so they broke up but never really got over eachother. Chloe had her reasons for not only breaking Noah‘s heart but also hers and I honestly couldn‘t figure it out until the moment it‘s revealed!
After 10 years Chloe moved back to her childhood hometown and just wants to move foreward with her life but fate is back and brings Noah and her together all the time!
The second dive is an emotional book and I feel like it‘s the authors most emotional book so far. It‘s a standalone but I recommend reading the others before for maximum enjoyment!

First time reading one of this author’s books but this had second chance romance trope in it so I give a try and I liked it. The characters were likable and the writing was good.
I really liked Noah and Chloe together, despite the circumstances they try to make their situation work, and in the end, they succeed.
In the end, it's a cute, at times emotional, quick read.

Review: If you’ve read the rest of the books in the series (
Fresh Meet,
Secret Plunge), you know that you’re in for a treat with Noah Winters. What you don’t expect is just how much of an emotional rollercoaster this book is going to take you on. I’ve been waiting for Noah’s book since we met Ryan and Harper, but I didn’t see this coming. Noah is officially my favourite of the quartet and his story is just so spectacular. I mean, I was obsessed with Jace and Millie, but Noah and Chloe. Oof, brace yourselves.
Ten years ago, Chloe Williams and Noah Winters were in love. Deeply, hopelessly, crazily in love. And then Chloe went away because she was sick and sent him a message ending things. Noah’s held onto that anger of that heartbreak because it shook him to his core. He never thought he’d lose Chloe that way. But Chloe had her reasons - she really was sick. And she made the painful choice for both of them to not drag Noah into her pain so he could have a great career. And that worked out for him, even with a broken heart.“When I imagine my future, all I can see is you. It’s always been you, little bird. Always.”
Fast forward to ten years later. The Kings of the Water are being auctioned off for charity and the woman that bids on Noah and wins an evening with him happens to be Chloe. The very same woman he hasn’t seen in over ten years. And it’s safe to say their reunion doesn’t go as planned. Noah’s angry, Chloe’s in pain and it’s all kinds of angsty. And even when Noah is being awful or rude, he’s still wanting to be with Chloe and she’s still wanting to wrap herself around Noah. Because how can you just get over and forget your one true love, right?
Despite wanting to avoid Chloe, Noah keeps running into her. It’s like fate has other plans and keeps tossing them together in the most unlikeliest of ways. I love how every single time he realises that he has to interact with Chloe, Noah wants to curse the universe and thank it at the same time. The love is still there, but it’s just hard to accept it when you want to ignore it and move on. Every little interaction with them, where other characters are also part of it is truly the best. To hear them express what is going on instead of imagining it might be my favourite thing ever.“My body loves him, heating up in all the right places and I’m not sure how to feel about that. Of course, he’s hot, but it’s the history we share that burns the brightest.”
But when you’ve got that much sexual tension, chemistry and history, it’s impossible to ignore all the things that you want. And man oh man, when Noah and Chloe finally push aside their issues and differences, things get so hot and steamy. It’s explosive, sure, but it’s so much more. Their history and their undying love for each other makes it so powerful. Every single time they’re together, it’s like staring into the sun, that’s how unbelievable it is.
Chloe and Noah have so much pain between them - from betrayals, to lies to secrets to truths - and to watch them navigate it is truly beautiful. You can see how the more time he spends with Chloe, the more he unclenches and relaxes and to have Noah come undone like that is absolutely great. He’s always been the broodiest of the Kings, so this is a great way to see him now. Seriously, the character growth is incredible and then there’s the relationship between Chloe and Noah that will just do you in. It’s truly something special.“I owe him kisses that pierce my soul and leave a permanent mark. Right next to all the other ones he’s left there before.”
Jasmin went all out with the feels in Second Dive, so prepare yourself for some tears, some heartache and a whole lot of gushing. The details, the information, the world and character building have always been one of my favourite things about this series, so we get more of that here and it’s spectacular. If like me you have loved Harper/Ryan and Millie/Jace, you are going to absolutely and without a doubt love Chloe/Noah. They are my favourites and I want them to be yours too.

Second Dive is a heart wrenching second chance romance, full of emotional secrets and heart aching moments between Noah and Chloe, who reunite a decade after tragedy tears them apart.
Chloe has moved back to LA after ten years away and can’t believe it when she runs into her ex-boyfriend, Olympic swimmer Noah. She is still upset with how things ended between them, even though it was her decision and knows that the least she can do is apologise, she just needs to get him to sit and speak with her. The opportunity to win a dinner date with him arises, and she jumps at the chance, but their meal doesn’t go to plan. Noah is blindsided when the love of his life who left so suddenly sits down opposite him, and although he hears her apology, he can’t accept it. But their chemistry is still there, and so many unresolved feelings, what they each need is closure. They are suddenly reintroduced into each other’s day to day lives, and they slip straight back into their comfortable conversation, but it’s clear they both have things left unsaid. Noah is unsure about his future and believes this could be his second chance with Chloe, but she’s got her own secrets. When Chloe finds the courage to tell him, how will Noah react, and how will it affect the future he’s been planning for them?
Noah and Chloe’s story made my heartache, they both deserved all the happiness in the world, and it was clear from the start they weren’t going to find it with anyone but each other. Noah was beginning to become lost, having achieved his career dreams and goals tenfold. The introduction of Chloe back into his life, whilst a surprise was the best for him, because it gave him a new focus, and showed him there could be a life after swimming. Chloe’s strength was amazing, I loved her character and how she let nothing stop her from going after her own career aspirations, although she put a hold on the ones in her personal life. But Noah showed her that he was going to be there every step of the way this time, and the future she craved with him could be a possibility.
Jasmin writes such great characters, it was nice to see the other couples further into their relationships, and how they boys all gathered together to support Noah and the girls accepted Chloe into the group. Jasmin’s words are so meaningful, they bring out every emotion and I feel like I went through it all with Chloe and Noah, the happiness, the heartache, the love. Another great book from Jasmin!

Chloe returns back to her hometown with her mother after many years of absence. Since she's back there, she feels the need to reconsile with her ex boyfriend and high school sweetheart Noah. They hadn't ended things in a smooth way back then, so now she wants his forgiveness.
Chloe. Once the love of my life.
Now , at the top of my shit list.
Could my day get any worse?
I really don't want to say many things about the plot, other than the fact that this is a second chance romance and that the book is brilliant!!
This was the most emotional read I've read by Jasmin and the book that hit close to home for me. I have something in common with the heroine, not on the exact same way, but let's say we face some similarities in certain aspects. Whoever read this, they know what I mean. . .
We used to be each other's everything. And now we're nothing.
I really enjoyed this story. I'm usually not a fan of the second chance trope. But I really liked the way they met again, their discussion and how it rolled, their relationship and how smoothly it progressed without too much angst, that I usually expect in these stories. Not that it lacked of angst, but let's say it wasn't a cliche. I love this author's writing style and once again it didn't disappoint me. The only thing that kind of bummed me was at some point a reaction that I didn't appreciate and the drama was uneccesary.
I loved the pace and the character development of the characters, how they communicated with each other, the secondary characters were also fun to meet , either old ones or new ones. This is definitely one of my favorite books by this author and I strongly recommend it!
PS: I also loved the bonus chapter! So wholesome!! You need to read that too, if you read this book! -
Jasmin Miller does it again, I absolutely loved this book!! This is the third book in the Kings of The Water series, but it can be read as a stand alone. Once I started this book, I knew I wasn’t going to be able to put I down. I read it in two sittings, and wish there was more!
I feel like I have become so invested in the characters, and I was so excited for Noah and Chloe’s story. The characters in this book are amazing, and you will absolutely love them. The romance between these two was steamy! Noah and Chloe have such an amazing connection, and I loved seeing where their relationship was going to go. This book will pull at your heart strings. It has some hard topics in it, but it’s so well written. This book will take you on a journey of heartbreak and falling in love again. I just loved this book so much. It is the perfect second chance romance, and I highly recommend it!

𝕊𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕖: Chloe has loved Noah for as long as she’s known what it feels like to truly love someone. The two high school sweethearts were inseparable and everything was perfect...until it wasn’t.
Noah didn’t ever think he could truly despise someone until the day Chloe ended things. He thought he had it all: a great group of friends, a budding swimming career, and the girl of his dreams.
Ten years later and Chloe’s back in their hometown. As they’re forced to work together Chloe starts to reveal the secrets of her past and Noah starts to heal his still broken heart. Can these two make a second chance work or is it too late for their happily ever after?
*~*~*~*
𝕊𝕖𝕩 𝕊𝕔𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕤: These two burn HOT with all kinds of enemies to lovers ANGST! And when they light up it’s a scorcher! I frigging live for this trope. Such a fave! These scenes are heated, yet tender. Spontaneous, yet perfectly drawn out. 🔥🔥🔥🔥/5 from me!

【$】: FREE in KU! This was my first read by this author and it certainly won’t be my last. This romance had so much heart written into it—my own was left aching for our two main characters! If you want a contemporary romance that leaves you with ALL the feels and plenty of steam, you e found a winner! Go grab that DL! -
Chloe returns to her hometown ten years after she left. Ten years after breaking up with the love of her life by text. All she wants is to apologize to him and get on with her life. But events keep throwing them together. First at a bachelor's charity auction, then a hospital volunteer project. At a time when Noah's Olympic swimming career seems to be falling apart, now his mind is conflicted by the emotions Chloe still causes for him. There was a reason they couldn't be together then and why she must keep her distance from him now...and she dreads telling him the truth.
This was a sweet second chance romance that took a depressing turn at the end. I suffer from a medical complication that causes infertility, so the emotions in this book were a little too close to home for me and just made me depressed.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. The views and opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own. -
I completely fell in love with Noah and Chloe’s story. It is heartbreaking, emotional and such a beautiful second chance.
Chloe and Noah fell in love as kids and had their whole future planned. Until one simple text message forever changed their relationship and their entire lives. Now it is ten years later and they have a second chance. The question is will they both take a second dive together?
The chemistry between Noah and Chloe is intense. Even after ten years and the pain and heartbreak there is still such a strong connection between the two of them. I loved seeing them reconnect.
There were so many sweet moments between them. I loved how comfortable they were with each other from the start. As the story continued and the reasons for Chloe’s text ten years prior come to light my heart broke for them both and it also made me like Chloe more. She is a fighter and strong given everything she went through.
Second Dive is an emotional second chance romance that is beautiful and captivating from the start. A MUST READ! -
First the title is misleading, Noah is a swimmer not a diver!
But the rest is a big bag of emotions toying with the reader. We have father that passed away from long battle of cancer (my father’s took him out in less then 2 weeks after diagnosis, still battle over the loss still and he passed away on 2002). Chloe suffered a Miscarried when she learned about her bad heart that forced her to break up with Noah over text message. Then the future of never having children, I didn’t understand if her’s was a choice or was it a sacrifice of the heart transplant? I wasn’t too understanding of that. But this also hits way to close to home for me and my inability to have children and watching other women have children in their hips or in their arms is still very hard on me. So this story hits on many areas, to close to the heart. And I hate to cry since I was raised to believe that it makes you weak but I had a few spill over. -
We finally find out what’s been bothering Noah from the first two books of this series! This is a second chance romance which is my favorite kind! We meet Chloe, his high school girlfriend. But they were more than just girlfriend and boyfriend. Noah thought they were soulmates until she just broke it off with him for no apparent reason. Throughout this book we find out why. What I suspected was the reason at first was definitely not it. There are quite a few surprises in this book and some triggers. Luckily there is a mention of these at the beginning of the book. There are definitely plenty of sad moments throughout this story but also many heartwarming moments too. This is a story of imagining your life one way but acknowledging that things don’t always happen as you want them to. It’s more important to be with those you love and love the life you now lead. Such a great story!

This is the 3rd book in this amazing series, and I must just say hats off to this talented author as each story is getting better and better. This is Noah and Chloe’s story. These two were high school sweethearts until tragedy struck and Chloe sacrificed her own happiness for Noah to follow his dreams. Now 10-years later fate brings them back together, and Chloe just wants to apologise to Noah for her actions and for them both to move on with their lives. Noah is angry and bitter, while Chloe is strong and brave, but can he forgive her? This is a beautifully written tale which is 2nd chance emotional roller coaster, and is filled with heartbreak, grief, loss, forgiveness, and is a humorous and steamy read which pulls at the heartstrings. I look forward to reading more from this gifted author whose work I recommend for all.
-
Noahhhh!!!! Ever since reading the first Kings of the Water book, I knew I wanted Noah's story. A second chance romance between Noah and Chloe. These two were high school sweethearts with futures planned, but Chloe disappears completely breaking both their hearts. Ten years pass by and she's back. Noah is angry and wants nothing to do with her but, sometimes your heart doesn't really listen to your head right?
This was a second chance romance couple that NEEDED to be together again! I consumed this story! It was emotional, passionate and pretty heartbreaking. A good addition to the Jase and Ryan's story! -
OH THIS STORY!! ・OH MY HEART!!
Jasmin Miller weaves a tale that is equally Heartaching as it is Heartwarming.
Noah and Chloe's second chance romance story is a highly emotional read that will grab your heart from the beginning at not let go.
10 years ago, Noah and Chloe were High School sweethearts until one day Chloe sacrificed her own happiness and suddenly left town leaving Noah lost and heartbroken.
Will Chloe's return to town give them a second chance at love? Can Noah get over his broken heart and forgive her? Or will secrets from the past keep them apart?
Both Noah and Chloe are instantly loveable characters. Noah is book boyfriend gold, he's sexy, sweet, understanding, caring, and protective. Chloe is heroine perfection, she is strong, beautiful, sweet, and utterly selfless. With the perfect amount of chemistry, angst, romance, humour, and twists and turns their journey to a HEA had me gasping with shock and surprise, heated up my kindle, had me swooning, and completely broke my heart and pieced it back together in the most beautiful of ways.
Another truly wonderful addition to The Kings of The Water!
PSA: Make sure to read the Bonus Epilogue because this was EVERYTHING!!! -
Noah and Chloe
Talk about all the feels punching you in the heart!!!
This book will bring out all the emotions. I got whiplash from the amount of feelings pouring out of me. I mean there’s laughter along with cuteness. Then there’s anger and sadness, then you get smacked in the face with tears.
Jasmin took me for quite the ride with this one and I loved every second of it!
It’s just an all around well balance story with soooo many feelsies!!! My heart is FULL!
Ps you’ll be happy to know there’s familiar faces here too! -
Second Dive by Jasmin Miller

This book is full of all the ups & downs the good & bad, It has everything. This book is about a young couple coming back together and getting there second chance, but to do so some truths need to come out the could break them both.
Noah is a professional swimming and has absolutely loved swimming for as long as he can remember but lately he feels like he’s missing something but just can’t put his finger one what it is. Then his high school sweetheart comes back to town and throws his already confusing life upside down.
This book has some tough topic and definitely pulled on my heart strings, but whilst it’s tough it’s also beautifully written and makes this story. I highly recommend reading this book, it can be read as a stand-alone or in the series as a whole.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Second Dive and for that I’m very grateful. -
I really enjoyed reading this! It was definitely a standout in the series!

I'm a die hard second chance romance girl and this book sounds right up my blog.
It's the first novel that i've read by the author and it was interesting to read a new contemporary romance after so many thrillers.
It's well written, fast paced with flawed characters that have to overcome their past mistakes and some other insecurities as well as accepting their life the way it is now and looking for a future together. There are many moments when i wanted to shout at them to be honest and open up and be honest about the past and what their feelings are because their insecurities and fears are reliable as well as understandable but so frustrating at times. It touches a few topics that i haven't read in many romance stories and that's a plus for me because i love how the resolution come in here.
An enjoyable contemporary romance, angsty and with a well deserved happily ever after.
