🎄✨Mall I want for christmas Is you de Sara Robinson🎄✨

This short and sweet Christmas story was cute and just want I needed. A seasonal mall Santa and a struggling single mom…no way it could ever work out, right?
Chrissy doesn’t do temporary. She can’t risk it when her seven year-old son is top priority. She can’t help but be hopeful for more though, when she keeps hitting it off with sexy and kind and caring Dash. And when he keeps showing all of his good qualities over and over again, she knows she’s a goner.
If you’re looking for a quick, feel-good Christmas story that’ll give you plenty of smiles, I recommend this one. -

I really enjoyed this short Christmas story.
When characters are named Dash Winter, Chrissy Eve and Rudy, I can’t help but feel all Christmassy! It was a really sweet story but I wouldn’t have mind if it was a bit longer.
If you enjoy short Christmas story, be sure to pick it up.
Book is out tomorrow december 14th.
Thank you Netgallery for the ARC. -
I'm usually a fan of fast-paced, instalove-style stories, but this one didn't really work for me. The premise was okay, the characters were okay, there just wasn't enough Oomph in their relationship (honestly, their relationship felt very surface level throughout and then they were suddenly saying ILYs to one another) for my taste.

Thank you to NetGalley, Author Collective 20, and Sarah Robinson for providing me with a free copy of this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This story was so sweet and adorable! I loved the dynamic between Chrissy, Dash, and Chrissy's son Rudy! I really liked that despite the fact that it was just a short, Christmas novella it had a lovely romance that really had me rooting for the characters to be together. The story was full of some laugh out loud moments that were everything I was looking for in a quick, funny Christmas read. I just wish that the story had been a bit longer because it definitely left me wanting more.
Chrissy as a character was great to read about. She is such a resilient and admirable person who is always just doing her best to be the best mom she can possibly be. I love that she always puts Rudy's needs and wants first and he is the most important thing in her life. The meeting between Rudy and Santa Dash is a sweet exchange and seemed like an excellent way of connecting the two separate storylines. Dash for his part is a charming, handsome man who is still trying to figure out his life. This just seems so realistic because truth be told, many people don't have their lives together in their twenties. However, he is a great fit for Chrissy and Rudy. I loved how Chrissy and Dash were able to connect and relate to one another in terms of their difficult pasts and tense relationships with their parents.
This book really gave me great Hallmark movie vibes and I think could be easily adapted. It was a great way of getting me into the Christmas spirit and I highly recommend it if you've been looking for a cute holiday read to check out. I haven't read many other Christmas or Wintery books but this one definitely makes me try out some more! It was a great introduction to Sarah Robinson as an author and now I'm curious to check out more of her works.

Meh. It was an okay story, light on the romance and love and sex, but a great epilogue. -

I should have known that a book with the title of Mall I Want for Christmas is You would land on the hokey side of holiday romances. But it was 99 cents and the cover was cute. Plus the synopsis made me think that this was going to be one of those whirlwind Christmas-y romances where two people meet up in an unlikely place and find themselves drawn to each other as they make the holiday season one to remember. That sort of happens. Sort of.
This story falls into the trap that so many holiday novella romances fall into ... Sarah Robinson tries to throw too much story and emotion into too few pages. Dash finds himself in the unlikely role as a mall Santa. Side note ... what mall with any dignity would hire a hot 20-something guy to play their Santa? Were there no portly elderly men looking for a seasonal job in this town? Anyway, Dash runs into 7 year-old Rudy who thinks that he is Santa. Rudy asks "Santa" to help his mom learn to drive a sleigh so that they can get a car and not have to rely on public transportation to get around. It turns out that Rudy's mom, Chrissy, can drive just fine. She's just dirt poor and can't afford a car, and rather than just say that to her son, she thought telling him that she can't drive would be the better excuse. Dash meets Chrissy and asks her out for brunch. One thing leads to another, and within two weeks Dash and Chrissy are madly in love. The end.
There is nothing in this story that warms the heart. There's a lot that I'm sure is supposed to warm our heart, but it falls flat. Dash and Chrissy are not fleshed out all that much as characters. We get a lot of info about them vomited at us, but it comes so rapid fire that it can't sink in enough for me to feel any depth of feeling about them or their lives. And why do they feel like they can declare their love after two weeks of acquaintance? Who knows? It made no sense. Chrissy finally feels like she can commit to Dash (again, I have no idea why) and then she immediately tells him she loves him. It seems HIGHLY unlikely that a woman who has been careful about commitment since Rudy's birth would jump into a relationship with both feet so quickly. And yet she does. Maybe if this was a full length story this would work, but in a novella it seemed very rushed and unsatisfactory.
I just have to say it ... I know the author probably felt like she was being super cute with the names, but I think I just had to take off an extra star just because they made me cringe so much. Dash Winters? Chrissy Eve? Rudy Eve? Donner? New baby Holley? Come on. It was too much. But I'm probably feeling grumpy today, so maybe it wouldn't have bothered me on a different week. I'll give this two stars. It was okay. Not quite for me, and not what I hope for in a holiday romance. -
This was a short and sweet festive read. It's the first book I've read by this Author, but I'll definitely be reading more. It was the perfect book to start a new year with.

MALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS by Sarah Robinson is a contemporary, stand alone story line focusing on twenty- eight year old Dash Winters, and single mother Chrissy Eve.
Told from three third person perspectives (Dash, Chrissy and Rudy) MALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS follows Dash Winters, and his part time gig as the local mall Santa. Doing a favour for his mother, Dash agrees to work as the holiday Santa but the first day on the job Dash meets seven year old Rudy Eve who asks Santa to teach his mother to drive. Trying to keep up appearances, Dash jumps between his Santa persona and that of a man trying to woo Rudy’s mother Chrissy, a woman who is sceptical about Dash’s intentions, and is quick to judge Dash based on initial appearance.
MALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS is a quick read; a short holiday story where all of the names are Christmas related, and the relationship goes from zero to sixty in the blink of an eye. A cute story with little to no romance mostly focusing on Chrissy Eve’s inability to trust a man who has taken a job as a part time Santa. I was hoping for a little more romance and character development for our leading couple. -
Naughty or Nice?...
This holiday romance is a feel good novella. I love the names that the characters are given, very festive. Dash plays Santa at the mall. He is not your regular Santa. He is young, hot and has a six pack. Chrissy is a single mom and works at the same mall. Her son strikes up a friendship with Santa/Dash. When Chrissy and Dash meet, they instantly have chemistry.
You will love this delightful Christmas story. It is one you can snuggle up with under a blanket and a hot chocolate and enjoy. -
Mall I Want for Christmas Is You is a fast, cute Christmas love novella. I didn’t want it to end. I sat for a few minutes after finishing the book trying to make myself understand the story was really over.
The main characters are so endearing and you just can’t help but like them.
If you are in the mood for a sweet holiday romance, you definitely need to pick up Mall I Want for Christmas Is You.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own. -
What happens if you fall for the mall Santa?
What a cute read. Delightfully cheesy with names like Winters and Eve. Everything you could ask for in a Christmas story.
The only downfall is that it is a super quick novella, I needed more! -
A sweet holiday story! Chrissy is a single mom with a seven year old son, Rudy. When Rudy asks the mall Santa, (Dash) to teach his mom to drive a sleigh, a friendship is formed between Dash and Chrissy. Will their friendship become more, or is it just temporary like Dash's job?
-
It’s kind of like a Hallmark Christmas commercial. It’s short and sweet and so much fun. The ending kind of snuck up on me and caught me completely off guard. These were pretty great characters, and now that I’ve started to get to know them, I kind of want to know even more.
-
Fun holiday novella. A mall Santa and a single mom are brought together by the wish of her young son. It has a warmth to it I liked. Of course the romance is rather fast, but sweet!
-
A cute Christmas novella it was shorter than expected. I think I loved Rudy more than Dash. He just caught my heart. The ending was so cute I almost shed a tear
