Experience Rejected Mate (Feral Shifters, #1) Developed By Callie Rose Exhibited In Leaflet

All of me aches and now I'm DYING because bookisn't out until SEPTEMBER, WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME, YOU BRILLIANT MONSTER! If anyone needs me, I'll be curled up in a ball sobbing forever, K, thanks. holy !!!

whoa this book what just happened my mind has been blown away too many times in this book!! this was absolutely amazing and that ending it what the french toast!!! i am obsessed right now!! Another wicked start to a series.
This book is about Amora who we met in a previous series,
We get to see why at the ending of that series she had to leave in this book,
After finding her mate and him leaving her, we see her travelling the country in search of him and her other two mates, Which she found out she had from the witch Gwen and that they cause the destruction of the planet,
On her journey we see so much happen, especially when Kian again walks into the bar she's in, Which kicks off the crazy ride she then goes on, With the appearance of Frost who then leads her to Malix and Kian again, Starts the crazy ride they all take to come to end the book in such a shocking way that I didn't expect at all, That it left me needing to know what she's going to do now, Amora is a wolf shifter one night when she was out in town, However, he rejected her and she spentyears looking for him, after a witch told her that hermates were destined to destroy the world, Amora couldn't allow it and she was willing to put an end to them, But when she meets him again, and her two new mates too, Amora

realises that things are more complicated that she thought, Forced to travel together to find a cure for a poison, Amora and hermates need to find what they really want,

For me this was more a,star read. I felt at times that the characters were pretty superficial, and some information weren't clear, Events happened in another series and characters are mentioned, and without having the information from there, it can be found confusing, I haven't read the other series, so I do not know who the witch who told Amora her future is or why Amora should trust her, I'll wait and see how it goes for book, You know how sometimes when you read a book as a reader you have no idea what the heck is going on because it's only in one person's narrative and they have no idea, and you know there is obviously this huge storyline coming that will eventually enlighten you, but you're impatient and you just want to know what the heck the deal is with the storyline and it drags you on and on continuing to read to try and find out Yeah that's what this story does, but as a reader I'm just unsure if I care enough about these characters to get dragged along in the dark any longer than one book.
I might give it one more book since I've already got the next book, but this book certainly didn't wow me into wanting to read the next book.
I'm more annoyed than enjoying the storyline, Nearly astar

It's an interesting premise, but the world building is just too thin in the first couple of chapters, There's a massive chunk of time missing, apparently with a war and a sort of prophecy happening in that time that is barely explained, it gets about a paragraph.
And then there's apparently at least one other realm, but that isn't explained either, You get tiny snippets of information later in the book, but never enough to truly feel like you know what this world is about, It feels like the book is a spin off, with the expectation that you've read the parent series, but I've no idea if that's the case,
On the other hand, I like the FMC beyond the fact that I never really understood her mission and the MMCs are interesting, with a strong thread of alphahole mixed with an undercurrent of vulnerability.
Well I love Amora she is tough, The guys well I was liking Frost and kind of Malix, but Kian was a jerk, Then that ending not sure if I can forgive them for that, The story hooked me and I couldnt put it down, Luckily bookis out so I can go see what happens next : quick PNR fun, kinda wish we got a bit more backstory and world building because i still don't really understand whats going on, but the interpersonal relationships are hella interesting and the snippets of the world that we've gotten so far are intriguing.
I didn't realize that this was a spinoff series else I would have started with that first and that would probably have alleviated some of my worldbuilding woes.
Holymotherofpearl! What! What! Callie what the heck did you do I'm shellshocked, With Callie I expected my emotions to be held hostage, always waiting for that really bad thing to happen in the main character, You know the type of thing you come across and I have to stop reading because you know something bad is going to happen and you have to work up the courage to continue to read.
Callie is the master of that, so I thought I was ready for her new series Feral Shifters, I was not ready!

After reading Rejected Mate I am one big emotional bruise.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the story but this book repeated gave the emotional punches, I'm a mess, Especially since I didn't realize that Feral Shifter is set in the same world as Claimed by Wolves, Sable's story, and follows Amora which I met in Claimed by Wolves and absolutely adored her.
After the ending of Claimed by Wolves, I was wondering what was up with Amora and now I have my answer, Rejected Mate is Amora's story as she is determined to stop her mates from destroying the world along with her heart,

Amora is so different now, after her mate rejected her apparently at the end of Alpha Queen, Amora has hardened, She left her pack and is on a mission to not only find all three of her mates but to stop them from destroying the world, She's been alone all this time with such a heavy burden and a heavy heart, of course, it changed her, Amora has a darkness that wasn't there before, she isn't mean or unkind but she is more guarded than she was before, Now her heart is on the line because she catches up to her mates and in her mind, there is only one way to stop them but it's hard to do because of the mating call and because Amora is such a good person.
She talks a big game, talking about taking them out but her actions say differently,

Kian, Frost, and Malix are the three shifters that are meant to be Amora's and there is something really strange going on with them, They are on a mission, very secretive, and they so easily ignore the mating bond, Although I can tell they feel the pull something is keeping them separate and in turn, they mostly act like jerks to Amora, I don't know if they can be redeemed if Callie can somehow manage to turn around the disaster the guys have made of this relationship but I am here to find out.

I love how Callie mentioned Sable and the guys, it brought a familiarity to the story while also coming at me with the emotional hits because Amora who is Sable's best friend hasn't been there, she isn't with her pack and that's sad.
I also love seeing things from Amora's perspective, she is tougher than Sable and she grew up being a shifter in a pack so it's totally different from Sable's story.
How she perceives things, how she uses her gifts, and how determined she is, Another great thing about this story is the new shifter lore, Kian, Frost, and Malix, aren't your average shifters and with them comes a lot of new and different information which I found interesting and I can't wait to find out more about them.

Rejected Mate was emotional brutal but I am ready for more, Amora is a badass who can take punches and goes with the flow, Some shady characters are working in the background plotting something unsavory, while the guys are being jerks, I can't wait for Amora to give them a taste of their own medicine because after the devastating ending in Rejected Mate, Amora hit rock bottom and now there is only one way to go and I am ready for Amora to stop holding punches.
I have no idea what's gonna happen but I can't wait for Untamed Mate,

Imma need yall to stop and read this, okay So, Goodstars

Slow start but if you keep reading the storyline picks up and gives you a hell of an ending,

Youll find your basic MC rejects FMC which still is not a favorite of mine, I miss the good old days where the man does the chasing but alas those days are not popular at the moment, World build is typical for a shifter read, Storyline started out very slow but became intriguing aboutthrough, Would have rated higher for me if the timeline had moved a little faster,

Ending freaking peeved me off and was also freaking awesome! Didnt see it coming!

Bummed the next book isnt available

Happy reading,
DD I literally want to flaming swear or punch someone after that ending!! lol.
What the bloody hell was that That completely threw me but i cant deny that it was a cracking cliffhanger, You get lulled into a false sense of security only to have the rug pulled out from under you, Or should i say Amora FMC does because its her that goes through all of that but you go through all of it with her,

One night of passion with Kian and finding out hes her mate for him only to do a runner would make anyone a little bit annoyed.
Which leads her to find out that hes more dangerous than she first thought from a witch and that your the only one to stop him, That kinda gives Amora the incentive to find out who he was and to stop him or try too, The only problem is hes not alone, Hes with Malix and Frost, Just when i was starting to like at least Malix and Frost they all pd me the hell off!!! I cant even complain that much because this book was a bloody brilliant read.
My only annoyance is that bookisnt out now so Ill just have to growl in the corner until it comes out, lol Not the greatest start to the series.
. WARNING I'M ABOUT TO UNLEASH A BIT OF RANTING, SO BE PREPARED, OH, AND I'LL TRY TO NOT REALLY SPOIL ANYTHING, NO PROMISES THOUGH, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Oh, HELL NO!! How those jerk faces going to go and do my girl like that, without even a second of hesitation! At first, I was sweating over here while reading Amora and Kian's first encounter.
It was combustible. Too bad that it didn't last, At least Sable's mates all wanted her, was desperate to claim her right from the beginning, but Amora got dealt a crappy hand by fate, Seriously, if there was a customer service representative within the fated mates department, I'd be demanding an exchange, I had hope in them, especially Frost, and then after what happened between her and Malix on the beach, I actually had a tiny bit of hope, How naive of me. I wanted to junk punch Kian for almost the entire book, and in the end, I wanted Amora to cut his heart out with her blade, Frost had me expecting better from him, but he let me down, Malix, ohhh . if I was Amora, I'd be cutting something else off him before carving out his heart, He knew what they planned to do the next day, he knew the pain he'd cause, yet he still did that on the beach, I wish we would have had POVs from the guys, because as of right now, it feels impossible to redeem them, Shifters are supposed to be blessed with mates that make them the center of their universe, They are supposed to love them until the end of days, not repeatedly rip their mate's heart out, Not put themselves before their mate, I could understand why she felt she had to do what she intended to, I had faith in her that she would find another way before she'd have to do so though, But them, they seem to only care about helping themselves, not her, or the world, I want to know if they even care what may become of her if they succeed in their plan, It's hard not to feel the heartache right along with Amora, It has to kill pieces of her heart and soul to go through what she has, and if I was her, I don't believe I could ever forgive.
Is it wrong that I'm almost hoping she'll be graced with a new mate/mates That I want them to hurt with the knowledge that they lost the best thing ever.
I want them tortured knowing someone else is getting everything they could have had, I know, I know, I'm a vindictive bitch, Anyway, as you can clearly see by reading this, the book sparked some serious feelings and emotions in me, I love when that happens, Good books should bring out feelings, should have you invested in the characters, And, if you're anything like me, after reading the book, you will be mentally pacing while waiting for the next one, hoping Amora gets to kick some serious ass.
I think I need to go work off some of this aggression now,

Until next time, happy reading friends!,
