  I absolutely love Joanna Nadin's style of writing and 'The Rachel Riley Diaries' are my favourite series so far!!
  As soon as I have read one book, I have to go straight on to the next one - they are very very addictive!
  I love how the story is a diary of Rachel's life and I love all the characters and how their lives are unfolding across the series.
  I can't wait to read the last three books in the series but I never want them to end!!

  Joanna Nadinin "Yksinkertaista elämää, Rachel Riley" (Gummerus, 2012) on Saffron Waldenin pikkukaupungissa asuvan teinitytön elämästä kertovan sarjan viides osa. Rachel osallistuu nyt wicca-noitapiirin toimintaan, tapaa uuden söpön pojan, aloittaa lukion, jää koukkuun Facebookiin ja sitä rataa. Kommellukset ja väärinkäsitykset seuraavat toistaan.
  
  Juuri mikään ei ole muuttunut aikaisempiin osiin verrattuna, eli jos pidit aikaisemmista osista, niin tulet takuulla pitämään tästäkin. Miinuksena on tosin mainittava, että sama koskee myös Rachelin henkilöhahmoa, vaikka ikää tuleekin vuosi vuodelta enemmän, joten hieman puuduttavaksi touhu alkaa käydä. Lopullisessa arvosanassa siitä miinustettakoon yksi tähti.
  
  Suomennoksesta täytyy vielä sanoa sen verran, että että World Cupin kääntäminen jalkapallon maailmanmestaruuskilpailuiksi tuntuu olevan kerta toisensa jälkeen ylivoimainen tehtävä.

  I'll be honest, I got this book free in a magazine in some sort of bumper-pack. And from this I ended up reading the whole series.
  Rachel, I felt, was somewhat annoying. She just seemed entirely oblivious to the people around her, well, not entirely, she just seemed like she had a permanent set of rose tinted glasses on. I loved her dramatic slide of character, however, and this made me want to continue reading about her cringe-worthy endevours and slightly relatable teenage antics. For any teenage girl out there, this book is a definite MUST, even if it is only this book you read out of the whole series (unlikely!), when I finally finished them all the cliff hanger was tremendous and I actually felt my self become emotional at the potential what-if possibilities. In short: Loved it!

  Taattua Rachel Rileytä. Kaikki on kovin ironista, niin tiarat kuin vaatteetkin. Minua viehättää kirjan yliampuva teinimäisyys, joka tuo mieleen omat epävarmat teiniajat. Rachel haluaa olla cool vintagetyyppi, koska se on hienoa ja niiiiin ironista, mutta missään vaiheessa hän ei pysähdy ajattelemaan, onko se todella häntä itseään. Viihdyttävää lukemista, perhe on täysin sekopäinen, joten ei ihmekään, ettei Rachelkään aina tiedä, mitä tekisi ja kuka olisi.
