facts! I've been working on a project where I need snack recipes for each state and this was the perfect resource : I definitely enjoyed this book and all the interesting facts about the state said it had to offer.
However I feel that the recipes could have been a bit more state centric, I feel like the recipes in this book definitely do not represent the States that they assigned them to.
However I think to learn some general information in just a quick read and some interesting recipe ideas this is an overall good book so I will definitely give itanyways.

Though a bit dated, this book offers a lot of interesting facts and trivia about each of the fifty states in the nation.
The facts are paired with recipes that are popular and/or highlight one of the state's defining foods.


Small black and white pictures depict each state's outline with prominent cities and add some of the key features or official state animals/birds/trees/flowers, etc.
Our oldest borrowed this book from her elementary school library and I thought it was a fun, fast read.
