I know that Celia was quite self-centered, which is why this is not one of my favourite Candy Apple books, but I think that she learned from her mistakes in the consequences that she faced. I think she definitely deserves a little more credit for being honest with her classmates because she basically told her entire grade that she was lying due to her own insecurities, which for a 12 year-old who cares so much about what other people think is incredible character development.

Guess the honeymoon is over with these Candy Apple books for me. This one was a real dud in that one of the girls was selfish and thoughtless throughout most the story I read. And she didn't take measure to redeem herself to her friend. Disappointed.
