Things I loved:🖤It was a fun read! I loved how you followed the clues & the storyline naturally progressed🖤I was so glad when Max joined the party! I really wanted Avery to have someone she could trust.🖤 The pace was alright & again was a big fan of the short chapters🖤 we got some answers!! Not all of the mind, but a lot of info was given which helped us understand everyone’s motives a little Things I’m not a fan of:🖤I felt like the characters could be a bit developed they all just seemed a little one dimensional.🖤This ‘kind of’ love triangle with Jameson & Grayson. It’s not one of my face tropes. I prefer enemy to lover which might be why I was rooting for Grayson ! (Unpopular opinion probably 🤣)Ultimately, this is a fun young adult book that I found really easy to read & I’m fuming in need to wait until August 2022 for the next instalment!

The follow up to The Inheritance Games sees secrets from the past emerge, credible threats to Avery's life arise, and the love triangle between Avery, Grayson, and Jameson continues. Avery is unsure who to trust, everyone has their own secrets and agendas, but she can't sit on the fence forever.I loved the first book, and I loved this one too. It may not have been quite as good as the first one, but it was fairly close. There are lots of twists and turns and people involved, and I think I should have refreshed my mind on who was who in the Hawthorne family, but no matter it was a fast paced thrill ride with a smattering of romance. I still ship Avery/Jameson over Avery/Grayson as I think AJ has much chemistry than AG, but I think there are revelations to come there. I cannot wait for the third book.Thanks to NetGalley & publishers, Penguin Random House Children's UK, for the opportunity to read an ARC. I am voluntarily giving an honest review.

The Hawthorne Legacy is the second book in the Inheritance Games trilogy and picked up straight after where book one left us. I can't put this trilogy down and am now starting the final book.Avery has further puzzles to solve along with the Hawthorne brothers some meant for them, some not. There's some shock revelations in this book and some great twists upon twists upon twists. This series is so much fun and so addictive and u just can't pull away!My heart went out to Avery and the boys so many times and I feel so sorry for Avery at times being thrust into this life with threats and dangers all around her. I like how it makes you question if being rich is always worth it and how you can end up with so few people who you can really trust. I enjoyed meeting Max in this edition and find her a really fun and quirky character. I couldn't help laughing out loud a few times with her expressions and comments.If you need some escapism and love puzzles and twisty reads you definitely need to read this series!

I really enjoyed this, like I enjoyed the first book, but I enjoyed this a whole lot ! I thought I worked out all the twist but nope! This threw me in a completely new direction! So yes I am definitely buying the third book.I just enjoyed this so much than I was expecting to!I read some reviews say that this book was only set up for the third book which is true but that doesn’t mean this was bad. This book had a lot to offer: mystery, romance, riddles and action. And I cannot wait to sink my teeth into what the author has to offer next.

A new Inheritance Games novel and a new mystery to solve! Avery is learning how dangerous it is to be an Heiress and there is a constant threat of danger looming. The reveals lead to questions and the clever twists keep the reader engaged. The characters are witty and charming, but remain vulnerable and realistic. I loved the family tension and seeing where the characters’ loyalties lie. It felt a little rushed at the end, but it was still an enjoyable read.
