    I passed the exam, so I am happy that I bought this book. I was also using courses from Coursera and associated qwiklabs. I think if I had only been using Coursera and the labs, I probably would not have got through what was a very tough exam. This book proved to be a great resource and the end of chapter questions were very helpful.There were still details in the exam that I did not see in the book or on the Coursera courses, although they do recommend using GCP for 6 months before you take the exam, I have not done this.

    I picked up a copy of this book when I was preparing for the Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer exam. I had access to a couple of online courses but felt I needed a hard copy book to add to my arsenal of tools (sometimes I can tune out of videos if I've been watching them for any extended period of time and get distracted)The book covers the contents of the exam blueprint well and has a great load of questions. They6 have some at the beginning of the chapter to pre test your knowledge, then some at the end to ensure you took it all in. There are full practice tests that cover content from all sections. These questions are not exactly like the type on the exam but they are great for making sure you've taken in the course content.My favourite thing about this book is the online content that comes with it, you get access to a website/app that has all of the questions covered in the book, you can create your own banks of questions from it. I made sure I knew the answer to every question before I took the exam and I know colleagues of mine did the same thing and reported that it helped them greatly too.Dan makes the subject matter easy to understand and overall the book is well written, coupled with my online training this book was enough to pass the Google Cloud ACE exam without any issue.

    Pro:Well structured and easy to read. Really helpful for preparing for my exam.Con:It is a bit out of date, which I can forgive, but the number of typos, mistakes and contradictions is really inexcusable for an official study guide. It's like no one has proof read it at all. Very disappointing.It's still a useful study resource if you take care to double check against the official documentation now and again.

    The book itself is good and explains most of the concepts in an approachable way. It's a bit out of date by now as Google keeps on adding new features, so it's excusable.The online resources are not accessible due to Wiley's platform being absolutely useless, so if you're buying it to get mock up exams, there might be other, better alternatives.

    Used to gain knowledge of GCP, currently working with AWS so always good to expand knowledge. The book is easy to read and understand and using it together with free tier GCP account gives a better understanding of Google Cloud.
