  I recently learned Nagata Kabi had a new book on the way and having enjoyed her previous works, I placed an order. This is one of her best volumes; a meditation on her conflicting feelings about finding a romantic partner. Of course, for her, this would be a difficult endeavor as she has made it clear she has had family, abuse, psychological, gender identity and alcohol issues. There is a bit of twisted amusement when Kabi tries dating apps, highlights her flaws and is stunned to get attention (a friend notes that some people will think such a troubled person is easy pickings). Still, it looks like she might be attaining some peace with herself. I could identify with Kabi; I don't have her issues but strong introversion can be a barrier to finding someone. I often feel I am always on the outside looking in or maybe it's always on the inside looking out. My Wandering Warrior Existence proved thoughtful and even hopeful, showing even the most troubled souls might eventually find a good path.

  I’ve read the rest of Kabi Nagata’s manga and loved them all. So I had high expectations for My Wandering Warrior Existence. I wasn’t disappointed! Enjoyed this manga very much. The art and the story sucked me in and kept me entertained until the very end.
