I enjoy the other series but this series is still the best and it was wonderful to find a new one. Less repetition from previous books which was nice. This one could almost stand on its own. Smith has retired and is working as a private investigator and just hope he keeps

Thank you Mr Grainger,for this enjoyable series of DCSmith stories. As the carectors come alive in my head Smith reminds me of Columbo from the old tv series. Great entertainment for my late night reading. I look forward to reading of your books.

If I could give Peter Grainger's novels 10 stars I would. What I find so fascinating about Grainger's writing is his ability to get you to care so deeply about his people and how he has infused this sense of goodness and integrity in them. I have reread all of the books
