is the first series of Jenetta Penner I have read and I have not been disappointed, I have enjoyed every moment of this series, I love the main character Avlyn Lark and how she grows as an individual throughout the trilogy, In fact, its satisfying to read all of the characters growth and how natural it feels, I feel this trilogy had a good ending, Penner did well to tie up all the loose ends, However, my only tiny gripe is that I felt the ending was rushed, There was such a big build up and I was a little deflated at how soon it was over, I just felt a little cheated out of a climatic ending.
Other than this aspect I can not fault the series at all, I wouldrecommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good dystopian story, Actually, Id recommend this to anyone it was really an easy going series with a brilliant author!It comes down to one choice save the world or save the ones you love.

I absolutely loved this series from start to finish, It's not my usual kind of read so I was a little dubious at first but without cause, It was easy to follow and fall in love with the characters, it was fast paced and thrilling without being hard to follow and had a few great surprises along the way.
I loved this series! It constantly throws you off guard with its plot twists and is a real emotional rollercoaster, The way the story progresses feels natural and the characters are great, I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves dystopian stories where romance is not the main focus, It focuses much broadly on all types of relationships which makes a nice change, This is a superb series, it kept me enthralled right until the very end!I love the realistic characters the plots and the relationships that grow out of each story, I'm almost sorry that I've finished it all!Thank you What a journey.
