That is, unless the conversations were documented elsewhere, Since completing the novel, I have read a great deal on Clementine and the entire family and found Marie Benedicts version spot on to what has been previously written and can be found online about the family.
I enjoy Marie Benedicts writing style, The story moved along at a good speed, I never found myself bored, Her descriptions are clear and concise, she doesnt go on or repeat herself, and her vocabulary keeps me on my toes.
Ms. Benedict is becoming a favorite historical fiction author of mine, This was a quick read for me, and Im glad I chose the book, If you enjoy historical fiction, you might want to give Lady Clementine a try, This was an amazing book, a great read, and an eye opening, I have almost read all of Marie Benedict books and am so greatfull that somone is shining a light on these incredible women.
