Ness is a very cursory examination of the research into the cryptozoological mystery at Loch Ness, but written by one of the scientists involved in the research.
It is a short summary, but includes some nice full color pictures, This book details the sightings, hoaxes, investigations and history behind Loch Ness and its most famous mystery in an objective and scientific manner that demostrates that even the wildest of tales can have some basis in truth, you just have to find what it is.
A lot of the information is portrayed in the exhibition centre displays and videos but this does include some additional detail and allows for a more thorough consideration of the Loch and its potential 'monster'.
Shine has done very well to take a mystery that inspires so much disbelief and myth and take it through a logical and sensible scientific discussion, Short look at the biology amp history of the Loch, made for the Exhibition Centre, Had some grammatical errors. Author is a naturalist at least, "A hidden world enough water to immerse every man, woman and child on earth more than three
times over, . . room enough for a few mysteries, . . but at last we are beginning to understand it", says naturalist and Loch Ness researcher, Adrian Shine,
At the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre, he brought together four decades of research into an objective, revolutionary and awardwinning exhibition, Now this book follows that very same story and shows how the world famous legend emerged and how the very special environment of Loch Ness contributes some surprising evidence to the debate!.
