I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and used this workbook for my clients from Dysfunctional families, All of my clients stopped reading the workbook withinchapters saying that it was too Christian for them and that they didn't like the fact that the book blamed the parents.
Also stating that the workbook was simplistic and really didn't touch on deeper subjects that they needed to process.
I have stopped using the workbook to address past Dysfunctional family problems in clients, Learn how your parents shape the way you feel about yourself, how you relate to others and even how they help you form your ideas about God.
