Because there's more to this hunter than meets the eye, and once pandora's box is opened, . . life will never be the same again, So short but pretty damn awesome! I was definitely impressed and now I can't wait to read the second one! Really enjoyed this was nice see her caring for Jansen.
But he looked after her just as much, When she fights of some banshees but they end up in trouble, She ends up revealing her magic she hides but thats another story for who she hiding from but Hassan there to help her even if he doesnt know.
I love Mina Carter I don't know that I've ever disliked anything she's written, and this series is no different, I love where she's taking Gwen and Jasen and really hope the series continues, Really, REALLY good read!

This book has it all, Great writing, strong storyline, and characters that you want to keep reading about, You get action, magic, shifters, and wonderfully steamy sex scenes, The only downside I think we have to wait for the next book, Grrrrrr ! i knew there had to be a reason i liked the first book so much, . . the second is simply awesome, blowmeaway awesome.

still pretty short, this much sustained action in a full length novel would be simply tiring, but it works here. so does the buildup of the h's powers and the world building, i wish there was a third in the series supposedly one was planned, no clue what happened to it, I chose this book based on a recommendation and was extremely pleased with this selection, Ms. Carter does a very good job of writing book two in a way that allows it to be read as a stand alone story.
While I now want to find book one, I was satisfied with the explanations provided in I Put a Spell on You, . .

Again I have to exclaim how much the author managed to put into these approximatelypages! The story is told entirely from Gwens point of view.




Its been six months since Gwen first found Jasen injured in his hotel room, Jasen was bitten that night by the lycan that attacked him and they have been in search of him ever since, the lycan always seeming to be able to stay a step ahead of them.


Jasen has been fighting the change, but its getting harder and harder, Gwen is in love with him, and she doesnt want to have to make a choice between her life or Jasens if he can no longer fight it.
There is one thing, though, that helps him to fight it and Gwens not arguing at allsex,



Gwen is one tough girl, She had to be before, living the life of a hunter, And now as well, on the road with Jasen, She will do whatever she has to do to help Jasen and she has a lead on a long shot idea which leads her to a dark, seedy bar searching for a particular mage who has something she needs.

Things dont go as planned in the bar and she and Jasen find themselves in a very tough spot.

This was another sexy, action packed short story and I loved it, On the Goodreads series page, the author indicates that a book three is planned, I Shot the Sherriff, so I cant wait to see what

happens next with Gwen and Jasen.
