What a way to live, What a way to die, ”
Allison has more to contend with that forest fires, In this second book of the Real Estate Diva Mystery Series, Allison must deal with missing clients and negligent care givers as well as former lovers who refuse to stay former.
This cozy mystery delivers both suspense and readability, The kindle books have been revised but not updated Allison is of her time and her time is in the middle of the worst real estate market since thes.
But there is always something interesting to distract her,
A word from Allison: “I know that some people will look to the author and say, “Oh, is that YOU” Of course Im not her.
I have twice the listings she does and better hair plus, I already own that Dooney and Bourke purple alligator bag she craves but cant afford.
So Im here to tell you, I am myself, ”

“You are so funny, Your wit, wisdom and information are second to none, ”
Bud Gardner Chicken Soup for the Writers Soul, Another fun cozy
I am enjoying this series a great deal, I love mysteries with smart clever witty characters, this one certainly has those attributes, This was a fairly okay book, The editing mistakes made it almost unreadable, though, A grandmother and her granddaughter, Almost an art hostel and some real estate thrown in, a nice story in a new adventure of Ms Allison Little, . .
I liked the theme, the characters, the plot, I do look forward to therd book, . .
But Ms Bramkamp really needs someone to proofread her work, Seriously. One 'typo' is to be expected, I guess but there were a lot of misspelled and a few grammar issues call me a grammar bitch, but I find those 'errors' very distracting Good story, and good characters.
But it seriously needs editing work! Mistakes on every other page made it impossible to enjoy the story or the writing.
Spelling mistakes, grammatical mistakes, extra words that didn't fit, wrong words that at times changed the meaning of the sentence "trying now to" instead of "trying not to", wrong tenses.
. . and in one appalling instance, "they're" instead of "their", What a shame this is the second book that I've read in the series, I'm now wary of getting the next one, despite liking the stories and the humor.
Time of the Essence
Allison is taking a vacation to visit her grandmother, First she gets a call from some rough clients who have found the home
they want, Allison does a walk through and sees no real problems.
Allison's grandmother is eclectic and loves helping everyone, She lets artsy types stayrent free but they help her out so Allison has grown up with a variety of people there when she visits.
While there, she learns her grandmother is facing some trouble, runs into old flames, tires to figure out her relationship with Ben, as well as ensuring the house deal goes through.
This story in the series was confusing to follow at times and was at a standstill in the beginning but once I was halfway through and following where things were going, I enjoyed the story.
I'm looking forward to reading more of Allison's story in future Real Estate Diva books, Catharine Bramkamp is an award winning poet/author/champion of Newbie Writers, Her new book, Dont Write Like We Talk, is based onyears of podcasts interviewing Agents and Authors, Publishers and Poets.
