Book ofAriel is one young woman's journey in the afterlife, Ariel learns that she is to train to be an angel and it is an experience that is surprisingly nearhuman, It is filled with doubt, frustration, hope, fear, faith, and determination, Despite the title, The Book ofAriel does not read like any book of the Bible, In fact, it is very modern and one of its true strengths is how much the reader connects with Ariel as if it were truly your his or her own experience.
The Book ofAriel keeps you wondering what happens next and is a delightful read for anyone who ever wondered what it would be like to be an angel.
Furthermore, it is a beautifully written heartwarming story for anyone simply curious about the possibility of life after death,

This is a perfect "young adult" book, but that being said i found that i really enjoyed the story amp Ariel was a wonderful character.
At first I was a little worried this would be a preachy book, It wasnt. Though, it was the perfect storyline to get me thinking about my own spirituality, This story was such a fun read, I loved the character of Ariel, and all the other characters for that matter, It was a quick enjoyable read, there will be another in the series and I cant wait to read that one!!! Mr, Quincy, please hurry up!!! I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway,
While I thought this book had a great storyline, it really needed some fleshing out, There are some areas where things need to be explained more and others where they need to just be explained, It, also, could use some editing and polishing I think this is selfpublished and it could be an AMAZING book!
I love the premise of the story and the author did a good job setting up the storyline to segue into the next book.
I can't wait to see what happens in The Book ofAriel! First off I have to state that I am not a traditionally religious person I have no problem with most religions, but they don't speak to me.
I am a practicing pagan and that will impact my views of this book to some degree,
Ariel is in training to become an angel, so of course there is a fair deal of religious dogma to wade through.
On the up side of things, I did not feel as though this book is overtly preaching Christianity, or Catholicism, Rather they are the vehicle and part of the overall message,
I found the story to be sweet, and the characters touching taking a leap of faith myself that this book was not written as an effort to proselytize and it seems to me that my leap of faith was rewarded.
I had serious reservations about reading this story because so much of my experience with Catholicism revolves around people trying to change me and get me to believe as they do, without allowing me to come to any determinations on my own.
Thankfully this book does not preach, It is clear that the author believes, but he just uses his belief to share a story and joy in his faith, And the latter is understated, which
makes it something to be appreciated as opposed to tolerated,
This story was well written, and enticing enough that I find I look forward to reading the next installment to learn what happens with the central characters.
And it doesn't hurt that this is a short storypgs or so, making it only an hour or so of your time, So even if you find that it didn't appeal to you on any level, you won't have wasted your time to any marked degree.
But somehow, I don't think that this book will offend even the strongest atheist or agnostic, I won this book in a Goodreads First Reads giveaway,
The Book ofAriel is a very short and fast paced book that I easily read in one sitting, Ariel died and went to heaven and is now being trained to be an angel, She starts out with no memories from her time on Earth but they are slowly revealed to her throughout the story, Her first charge is a little girl named Natalie that the reader can't help but to fall in love with, My only complaint about the book is that it was very short and there were some parts that weren't explained so well in the beginning.
This book had an interesting ending and I am looking forward to the next one! I received this book from Goodreads,
Not my preferred cup of tea but certainty an enjoyable book,
I received this book from GoodRead first reads program and it was a great book quick read and emotional, If you ever imagined what it may be like to become an angel, this is the book for you! A very sweet story about Ariel, an angel in training.
I felt connected to her and her journey after death and into heaven, I wished it had been a bit longer, I received this book for free through a Goodreads First Reads give away, Ariel dies and ends up in heaven to be trained as an angel, She doesn't remember anything about her life on earth, but they came back at different times, She is put to the test to watch over her first charge Natalie, She faces lots of self doubt, and confusion over not being told everything, I don't want to give any spoilers away, but this book was fantastic, Very unique in the sense that ive never read a book quite like it, I would definitely recommend it to someone and I would also read more from the author, I received this book ina giveaway, Finding out she is to be an angel, Ariel wants to be perfect, But when she is soon tasked with watching over an eightyearold girl named Natalie, the lines between what is right and what is wrong as well as what is just and what is unjust blur.
Every decision Ariel makes can alter the course of Natalie's life, And, throughout it all, there is one question Ariel battles with all of her being: What happens if she doesn't succeed The Book ofAriel uniquely captures an angel's hopes and dreams as well as her doubts and fears.
It is a thrilling, pageturner, one that reveals as much about the afterlife as it does about the very things that make us human.
