Collect That Dear Perfection Prepared By Alison York Disseminated As Script

years in the heart of Waleswith this man!

When Sophie first learned she'd inherited Country Connectionher uncle's perfume factorythe young model thanked her lucky she'd finished business college as a backup.

Because sharing that responsibility with knowitall Ben Ross, the managing director and cobeneficiary, meant proving to him that he was in partnership with more than a frivolous clotheshorse.

But to think she had innocently thought Ben would merely be frustrated by her intrusion, She hadn't considered the consequences of him being too interested! A Londonbased fashion model inherits half of a perfume factory in Wales from a distant uncle she has never met but who kept in touch with her over the years through letters.

The other half of the factory is inherited by one of the managing directors of the factory, who is initially very hostile to the idea of letting this airhead floozie from swinging London have any say whatsoever in the future of the traditional, family values company.

The bickerfest that ensues between these two was pretty entertaining, especially as the heroine oneups hero time and time again very satisfactorily.
It was awesome to see this chauvinist pig'snout drop on the floor as our classy, intelligent heroine demonstrates her business acumen at a meeting of the directors.
It was even more awesome to see the hero being big enough to admit when he is wrong and to acknowledge and support the heroine's novel ideas for expansion because they are actually beneficial to the company.

The story had some genuinely funny moments: The hero spies the heroine dancing the Charleston while modeling a silly bit of lingerie during a photo shoot.
Hero tries to take the heroine in a romantic sailboat ride only to suffer a concussion when the boom hits him in the head.
Heroine has to don a black wig and a mask to model the company's latest perfume at the launch party because the real model has broken her ankle the morning of the party.

Through their misadventures, it is clear that hero and heroine, after their initial enmity, fall into a friendship before falling into love, which makes their HEA believable.
They work very well as business partners but they positively sizzle as romantic partners, Lots of chemistry between them,

Only a lastminute Great, Big, Terrible Misunderstanding that seemed to have been plucked straight from a telenovela very temporarily threatens what is sure to be a longlasting HEA.
