My comment would be that it is easy to understand the author's heritage from Harlequin romance reading to the heroes of the Western romance where there is a character within the story that will pursue his every intention whether in a professional or personal setting with honesty, integrity, and intelligence all the while being the most handsome character that would be most daring to the female damsel in distress.
I didn't even make it to thepage mark with this book before stopping, I suspected early on that it wasn't going to be great but wanted to give it a try.
I'm a sadist, what can I say,

I hated the stiff, overly formal dialogue, the flat characters who all had so stories and the general feel of the book.
i love this book. i read it over and over, i might not be old enought in some peoples eyes to read this kind of book but it has alot of suspens.
