Gather Every Pearl Has Its Oyster (Hidden Gem, #4) Illustrated By India Lee File

on Every Pearl Has Its Oyster (Hidden Gem, #4)

plot spoilers ahead,

I absolutely love this series, With each book that comes I am unable to put it down, And the author sure knows how to write a male lead, With each guy in her life, I want Gemma to be with them, First Lucas, then Tyler, but now, . . oh now I want her to end up with Damian, Sure, i have liked him ever since the first book, But back when they first dated in high school, I was rooting for a Gemma/Lucas relationship, Now i can fully devote my fictional crush on Damian, He is who Gemma needs to end up with, Her confidant, his laid back demeanor, and the way he cares about her it's all unparalleled,

I loved to see Gemma realizing that she needed to become her own person and overall, I liked the way she dealt with it.
It felt real, which is so hard these days to translate in writing, While I'm sad there is only one more book, I am also excited to see how Lee wraps up the series.
I love that Gemma is moving on from singing to designing, I'm hoping that the next book is slightly in the future a year or two time jump so we can see Gemma and Damian giving it a go.
Great series to be a cheesy pun absolute gem of a series : sitelinkCLICK HERE TO READ MORE REVIEWS AT READING, EATING AND DREAMING I WAS BLAIR WALDORF

In the previous installment in this series, No Stone Unturned, Gemma revealed her real identity to the world and learned how to be both Gemma Hunter and Queen Bee.
Basically, she discovered herself after months of being torn in half by her two identities, She learned that she doesn't have to be Gemma or Queen Bee because the real Gemma is a little bit of both.

In Every Pearl Has Its Oyster, Gemma's record label wants to turn her into someone she isn't, an overthetop sex symbol who goes by Q.
B. Not only that, but Gemma feels overwhelmed by everything: the increased security, her label, the return of her archnemesis Madison, and her gorgeous and talented boyfriend Tyler Chase.
Read this novel to find out what Gemma does when the pressure gets to be too much!

I love the Hidden Gem series by India Lee.
It's definitely a little big younger than the books I typically read, but it's not too young, At least, it isn't too young for me, Honestly, I'm a little kid at heart so I love slipping into India Lee's fictional world of pop, movie, NBA players, stalkers, bloggers, and journalist! In my opinion, The Hidden Gem series is sort of like Hannah Montana meets Gossip Girl! I loved Hannah Montana growing up and I love Gossip Girl so this series is right up my alley.

Hidden Gem is a fun and exciting series, The author is extremely inventive you never really know what's going to happen to Gemma next, Personally, I LOVED the way Every Pearl Has Its Oyster turned out it set up for the final installment in this series perfectly.
I can't wait to see what Gemma does next!

I gave Every Pearl Has It's Oyster Hidden Gemby India LeeSTARS.
STARS. Hidden Gem is a cute, light, fun series that is PERFECT for young adults,

sitelinkREADING, EATING AND DREAMING The drama in this book, . . Jesus fucking Christ. There was so much of it, Another winner

I honestly love these books, They are just real enough to keep me going and just unrealistic enough to keep me totally entertained!! This book did not disappoint , as a older lady who got the first hidden gems book as a freebie and was notsure I would like them , we'll let me tell u they blow my mind I loved them and I've done the firstbooks indays and I've just had my hart broken as bookis not out yet and I can't find a relies date
Gutted but as for India lee I think her ideas and writing are amazing Wow, this was fantastic! Just as the blurb says, the return of old friends also brings old enemies, and I positively wanted to reach into the book and scratch a certain blonde's eyes out when she made her reappearance! Once again the characters were fabulous.
I loved me some Tyler, Damian and Zoe! Gemma is such a strong female lead, she certainly showed personal growth in this book and finally started standing up for herself where her record company was concerned.
Relationships wise I am torn, . . I adore Tyler, and his love for Gemma knows no bounds, And Damian, he's just so lovely and supportive, I love them both, but of course she can't end up with two guys, I didn't think I'd want Gemma with anyone except of Lucas, but she's grown past that love, Tyler's problem is that he loves Gemma almost too much, he wants to protect her, but in doing so goes over the top and I think she finds it suffocating.
Whatever happens in the final book, I can't wait to read it! I was right in thinking that this book would be filled with drama.
The very exhausting
Gather Every Pearl Has Its Oyster (Hidden Gem, #4) Illustrated By India Lee File
kind of drama, Relentless drama. I think it's been like this for each of the books in this series,

Gemma Hunter is now revealed to the public, her hidden identity as Queen Bee no longer relevant.

Can I say that I was stupid for thinking that revealing herself as Gemma would be a good thing for her career

Yes.
I think I can. I was totally stupid.

There I was, worrying that the book would be all about Tyler and Gemma's relationship being destroyed and Damian becoming her new boyfriend, when I never even considered that Queen Bee's "coming out" as Gemma Hunter could be a possibility.
A very sad and realistic possibility,

Her record label in this book goes absolutely bonkers, I mean, like insaneo! Queen Bee is awesome and has thousands of fans who love and adore her.
Why can't that be enough for her record label Why do they insist she must reinvent herself, name, clothes, music and all! Do they think Queen Bee's fans will love her transformation from couture and fabulous to sleazy and desperate

Let me just say, I was proud extremely proud of Gemma for how she stood up for herself against her stupid record label.
She didn't let them control her like they wanted, Bravo! At least I escaped the drama of what could have happened if Gemma let them walk all over her.

But I didn't escape drama overall,

Tyler and Gemma did have a rocky more like dangerously volatile relationship like I had feared.

And I absolutely loved Tyler in the first three books which is why this book was sitting on my computer for months without being read.
I was trying to hold off what felt like the inevitable breakup,

And was there a break up

I calculated it and the first half of the book felt like nothing but stressful drama that I could barely stand.
But the second half seemed to ease up a bit, or maybe I just got better at calming myself.

There are a few things I want to say about this book:

, I missed Gemma/Queen Bee performing and singing, She doesn't do any of it in this book and that made me really sad, I want to see her writing powerful music and performing her music on tour you know, the stuff that she was made for.
Hopefully I'll see it in the next book, And I'm pretty sure that I will after that fabulous ending I just read for this book, . .

. Tyler is no longer the perfect, dreamy guy I always imagined, My image of him was tainted in this book and I am truly sorry for that, I tried not to, but there were moments when I was utterly furious with him, Ugh! But that's good I guess, I don't want a perfect guy, That's unrealistic and stupid. And I guess I eased up on my annoyance with him as the book got closer to the end.
I still like him, but he definitely is different, Sigh.

. Damian. I never really cared for him until this book, That's sad, right I guess it's 'cause I felt like Gemma was using him in sitelinkHidden Gem just because she couldn't be with Lucas.
It made me feel sorry for the guy and I always saw him as some insignificant guy who was just a filler.
I know that's harsh. But true. Anyway, I went into this book wanting to hate him because I didn't want him to break up Gemma and Tyler.
But I couldn't hate him, He's just so likable. Shoot.

. Are we ever going to see Lucas again It's just something I'm always wondering about

, And how about Zoe I want more of her character, I love her craziness, but in this book she'd only ever around when Gemma needs her and plays the part of more of a consoling friend that's always there to make Gemma food or do her makeup for her.

. I just realized this list is more like my complaints of this book and it wasn't supposed to be like that, so here's something positive.
I loved Gemma's strength in this book! The poor girl is always up against some crazy drama, but she's tough and wants to be herself, whoever that may be.
She's awesome and I love her!

,

. Madison is in this book! Wha, . . what!!! Arg! As soon as she entered I knew there was gonna be trouble and I could see where the plot was leading with her being reintroduced to us.
Drama, drama, drama.

And now for a few quotes I absolutely loved!

WARNING!!!!! There could be spoilers, so read at your own risk!

"You are making a huge mistake, Bee," Perrin exclaimed.
"You will be losing everything you've ever made for yourself, All your music, all your work, everything goes to Oro, You'll be left with nothing, You'll be nothing. "
Gemma shrugged, opening the passenger door of Andro's car, "Honestly, I could use a little bit of nothing in my life right now, "

Yeah, that's right, Gemma! Whoo hoo! Leave the label! They suck!

"Because I do plan on spending the rest of my life with my girlfriend, Gemma Hunter.
It's been hard. Really hard. Up to this morning it was hard, But we've been weathered as big a storm as we could have faced as a couple, And at this point, I think spending our lives together is what we deserve,

Awe, That was so cute, Tyler,
I do love this series but this book just made me so angry, I really enjoyed the last book because I felt like Gemma had grown up and had made a decision about which guy to be with.
Then this book I just wanted to shake her and tell her to stop being selfish, I know people were annoyed with Tyler but I actually liked him even more, I understand why Gemma felt suffocated but she took everything out on Tyler, She didn't give him a chance to know her instead going to Damian all the time so of course he was going to get jealous.
She never wanted to make any decisions as a couple which makes me think she's not ready to be in a relationship.
Then she gets upset when Tyler accuses her of cheating when she had just accused him, She was a massive hypocrite throughout, I think if she'd have just let Tyler in he would have backed off, It's not his fault he doesn't know Gemma like Damian does, I still loved Zoe this book and Gavin, I'm glad the next book skips time because I'm hoping Gemma will have grown up, As much as I love Damian because he is perfect I think he and Gemma work better as friends so I'm rooting for Tyler.
I think he really loves her and if she finally makes a decision she can stick with and let him in they'd be good together.
