finished reading in a rather short time and enjoyed the story overall, It was a nice, compelling read that gripped me quite from the beginning, I liked Jonah's inner struggles with comingtoterms with his sexuality, I didn't like that he in the course of that lied to almost all the people around him, most of all to his supposed girlfriend.
I liked the way the relationship with Luke started and then progressed, I didn't like the slight turn into this purity/chastity status.
I liked Jonah's determination after finally accepting his being gay to come clear to everyone, I didn't like how the author then unnecessarily prolonged the whole story.
I really liked the mom! I didn't like the head hopping out of the blue during the lastor so, Nevertheless I will definitely read more by this author,

Imagine my surprise when I get home from work, decide to look though my kindle for a book Ive downloaded but havent read yet, and I ended up reading one of the best books Ive read in a while.
Here I am writing this review wiping tears from my eyes, To start with I fell for the characters so fast! The story mainly consists of Jonah theyear old, high school nerd, trying to understand himself, his girlfriend Bailey and his developing feelings for his brothers, year old, college roommate, Luke.
Lane Shelby sent me on a roller coaster ride! Jonah and Bailey start as best friends, Bailey wants more and Jonah cant understand why he has little interest in becoming more.
Their relationship develops a bit and is not really one sided, Jonah loves Bailey, however when Luke enters Jonahs life everything starts to become clearer to Jonah.
He learns the difference between loving someone and being “in love” with someone,
Luke knows hes gay but is firmly in the closet, he makes some bad choices trying to protect Jonah and things spiral out of control quickly.
I cant properly explain how thrilling, exciting, and just how fun it was to read about the ups and downs in the lives of these characters.
When the reader learns of the painful experience behind Luke trying to come out to his parents, WOW, it is completely unexpected, heartbreaking and unlike anything I have ever read before.
Young adult, m/m
Some situations may make readers uncomfortable, mention of rape,
Might contain spoilers!!!
The title is the best thing about the book for me,
I really wanted to like this but my expectations see title was a fluffy, a little angsty, but witty and funny story.
What I got was a whiny, selfrighteousst person narrator, instalove including instafamily in the epilogue, some hardly believable plot turns and an allaround not very interesting story with some OTT drama which was predicable and easy to prevent.
There was basically no humor in this whole novel, It wasn't very entertaining and the characters acted so strange from time to time that I didn't care for even one of them.
Even the parents lost any credibility along the way,
Here some things I especially disliked:
.stars. Whiny MC is whiny! Whilst this took me a couple of chapters to get into the story, I did quite enjoy it.
I can see where some say Jonah was whiny, but having ayo boy I can see lots of similar attitudes, so thought his character was quite well written.
The only negative I had was the floods of tears, whereas we tend to get more wet eyes from frustration, But the mum/sex talks did ring a bell those teenagers know best!
Because it is all from Jonah's pov, I didn't get much feels for Luke and a couple of times, keeping in Jonah's pov made the writing a bit clunky.
However, Jonah, Luke and Bailey got all the feelings going Luke should prosecute his father for goodness sake! and heartbreak for Bailey right at the end.
The big coming out to Zach was a bit of a let down, thought that would be more difficult, though with his comments you could look back at his behaviour and think, Oh he wasn't being such a dick then but better skills could have done him and the others a favour.
I would have loved the story between the end of the story and the epilogue, .
