Just ok. Pretty slow moving as the main character went from town to town trying to find her son, I really kept on going because I wanted to find out who the kidnapper was, And as usual, I did not expect the ending! I really thought I had it figured out too, . . When her son is kidnapped and spotted in the company of the nanny she recently fired, Amy Wainscoat joins Detective Brad Dorchester in a search that leads to a shocking conclusion, one that forces Amy to question everything she's ever believed.

This is a gripping tale, although it does, perhaps, drag a little in the middle, Quinns purpose may be to give the reader a sense of Amys weariness after months of searching, The romance between Brad and Amy hinted at in the blurb is very much in the background, especially when Amy falls into bed another man, And while the climax is quite dramatic, the astute reader will be able to predict from the back cover blurb and the first chapter or two just what the shocking revelation at the end will be.
