Makes you want to move there and join their circle of friends!! Great ending too!! Sweet and cute.

A story of high school sweethearts getting a second chance, but are they really Victoria Mason has been in love with Luke Dawson all of her life.
Two weeks before their wedding, she called off it and fled from their small town to the big city of NYC for an promising internship.
For the last twelve years they have managed to avoid each other whenever Victoria has returned home, which has been minimal.
What started as an unpaid internship has turned into a very successful career for Victoria, one that throws her back full force into Luke's orbit.
Luke has recently purchased the local sporting goods store and Victoria's big box client wants to buy him.
Luke is tied up in memories and nostalgia while Victoria is intent on getting the job done so she can flee back to the city.
Once Victoria starts rebuilding her relationship with her happily married with children high school girlfriends, she finds herself longing for what they have she also still longs for her career and this big city.

Can Luke and Victoria move beyond the past and rebuild their relationship or will her desire for professional success come between them once again Throw in a little mistletoe, nostalgia, holiday memories and Christmas cheer and you have the perfect holiday romance of first love getting a second chance!
By the time I was finished reading this book though, I was grinning like an idiot.
When I got to the last page, it left me nothing but good vibes, It was good to finally realized that I didn't need extreme situations or plotlines to have a convincingly good story.
Wow, these still exist! I have probably burried myself in too much heavy romances that I thought this was a breath of fresh air.

I'll admit that I didn't care for Victoria much in the beginning, but she quickly grew on me! I'm glad Vic and Luke finally got their act together and you couldn't help but read with a big grin on your face.
I can't wait to read the other books in the series, A sweet holiday romance. A must read! Leaving the love of your life for whichever reason always seems like a good idea when the time comes, but as we all know years later it could come back and blow those reasons out of the water, leaving you with all kinds of doubts as to whether you made the right decision.


In this read from author Jennifer Snow she shows just how those doubts can cause confusion, heartache but also how it can lead you to a lifetime of happiness if you dare to risk it.


The read tells of Victoria, twelve years ago she left her home town and headed for the big city and a excitement filled life.
But she did not only leave behind her smalltown hangup's she also left behind the one man she has always loved,Luke.


Now back in town to acquire the town's sports store she knows it is going to be the most difficult deal of her life, for the store owner is Luke.


But she is determined to get in, close the deal and get out before she falls for Luke all over again, but Luke has other ideas and if he has to pretend to not want to sell the store in order to keep Victoria in town so she can see they are meant to be together, than that is what he will do, but at what cost to his heart

The character of Luke was simply fascinating, I loved that he was kind hearted and always wanting to do good but at the same time he was also a typical man, yes ladies this one loves 'em and leaves 'em the second they get too close.
This showed him pretty much as most men are when they have loved and lost the only woman who ever made their hearts beat faster, they lost her and know they need to move on but it is easier said then done and thus they enjoy the fun along the way whilst still holding onto the past and ultimately in most cases this makes them the kind of man no woman wants to get involved with, for who wants to be with a man who's heart belongs to someone else.


The character of Victoria was very nicely written and the author showed her as many woman are when faced with the past.
Confused, arguing with the voices in their heads telling them "This is it he is the one, don't let him get away again", but their hearts telling them that he is not part of the dream you wanted.
I really loved how the author let Victoria's conflicting emotions bounce from right to wrong , it really showed her as realistic, in real life we all know our minds never go from right to wrong immediately when dealing with our hearts, it is a back and forth battle.


The backdrop settings were vivid and very well incorporated, I loved the homegrown touch, The dialogue was pure emotion and truly hearttouching,

I am taking away a message of risking it all for a dream is not always a mistake, it can make you a better person and let you grow but when the time comes for a second chance listening to your heart and throwing caution to the wind don't run just take the risk !

I recommend this read for fans of sweet and sensual romance reads, a wonderful Christmas story of romance in a small town.

The Trouble with Mistletoe is set in a charming small town and this really added to the allure for me yesIm a small town girl.
The push and pull

style attraction will speak to anyone who has felt themselves falling and tried to talk their heart out of the inevitable.
Victoria and Luke are stubborn and its entertaining to add that dynamic to the rekindled romance, Thank goodness friends and family are there to push the relationship in the right direction!

The Trouble with Mistletoe is the first book of Snows Ive read.
I was certainly not disappointed, The characters are well written, The soul searching theme about deciding what really matters has the makings of a Hallmark Holiday Movie.
This is a heartwarming story full of detail, Snow has a knack for ensuring just the right amount of details in her writing, I didnt find myself thinking so what if the wallpaper is faded and similarly I wasnt asking I wonder what that looks like.
Snow does a fabulous job giving the right specifics leaving precisely enough to each readers imagination,

This is a quick read, Snow writes in such a way you dont want to put down The Trouble with Mistletoe, Putting it down is something like going for popcorn in the middle of a movie instead of before it starts.
You dont want to miss anything and cant wait to find out what happens next,

If you happen to be traveling during the holidays and are looking for an entertaining and heartwarming read The Trouble with Mistletoe should definitely be in your carry on bag or purse.
