on Trail of Secrets

good! I couldn't put it down! Full of action and suspense and romance, I even teared up at the end, received RT Book s

Miniseries: The Cold Case Files I love this series Cold Case Files! Sandra does an outstanding job of keeping you on the edge of your chair, trembling, wondering what is going to happen next!! Never a dull moment! I love the fact that it is ALWAYS someone ya least suspect, or at least in my case it is.
. . I NEVER guess the right bad guys!! Loved the unexpected but happy ending!! Another of your great ones, Sandra! Exciting story! I loved how Seth and Callie's relationship developed.
It was rocky at first due to Callie rejecting Seth's marriage proposal two years prior, But Seth pushed aside his hurt to protect Callie, at first because her uncle was like a father to him and he was fighting for his life in a hospital.
But, eventually Seth realizes he can't let anything happen to Callie because he's never stopped loving her.
This was a story about a cold case murder that still affected Callie and her Uncle Dan.
The killer would stop at nothing to keep his secret even if it meant killing everyone involved years later.

The ending was really explosive, Learning how to use this as a guide to write a love inspired suspense, I liked the pacing, characters, and the twist at the end, Bookof The Cold

Case Files by Sandra Robbins what happens when good comes from tragedies, How one Retired ExPolice Officer/ Soon to be Retired Judge sought to find out how killed a young Women/ Mother when he himself was just a cop.
With bullets flying, attempts on his life and of his nieces it will be up to one of The Cold Case Detectives to find out before another attempt is mad.
Maybe even less. Though it started out promising, it turned out to be just another wimpy female needing to be rescued by a male.
The painful lack of communication in this genre was onesided again the female, I wondered at one point if the author disliked her own gender as SPOILER ALERT two of the three "bad guys" were female.
The female protagonist was bright enough to get a Ph, D, yet not bright enough to figure out the obvious answer to what was keeping the couple apart.
She obviously did not love the male protagonist enough to trust him with her "secret," and face the consequences together.
Finally, as I have read a lot of mysteries over myyears, in my opinion, Ms, Robbins broke a rookie rule of mystery writing SPOILER ALERT "If the author tries really, really hard to paint one person as the "bad guy," that person probably isn't.
" Callie's connection to law enforcement made her participation in Seth's investigation make sense, I appreciated that Callie didn't feel comfortable telling Seth her medical reason for initially refusing to marry him.
The criminal was foreshadowed, but it seemed that the "smaller" players needed to be established more smoothly for the storyline to work.
The number of deaths throughout had it feeling a bit like a Shakespearean tragedy, Great storyline! Trail of Secrets kept me guessing until the culprit was revealed, Reading this book was like putting together an intricate puzzle without having the box to know what the finished puzzle will look like.
It isn't until towards the end that the final puzzle pieces fit together to reveal the beautiful picture this book is.

Well done!
Sandra Robbins is a new Author for me and I will definitely be looking for her books in the future! This would probably be closer to a/because I didnt see the twist towards the end.
It was your typical formulaic Christian mystery but a little better than most, I pick these books when I need an easy read thats not too gory, "CALL SETH. "

After a brutal attack, that's all that Callie Lattimer's uncle Dan, a former police officer, can say.
Callie knows that Memphis cop Seth Dawtry will help, even if it means working with the woman who rejected him.
The attack seems tied to a decadesold unsolved murder Dan could never let go, New evidence must have gotten him uncomfortably close to the truth, Now it's up to Seth and Callie to follow the clues, But as they uncover answers, they discover the real threat is closer than they ever thought possible.
