Scan Life Must Go On Author Sherri Maner Readable In Audio Books

helpful book for anyone that has lost someone they love dearly! I am assuming this is a memoir because it is just too amazingly perfect and realistic to be anything but.
If it said otherwise somewhere in the book, I missed it, To be honest though, part of me needs to believe this really happened even if it didn't.


I was

originally going to put off this review because I just managed to stop crying.
This book hits home for me, It talks a lot about if something is meant to be it will happen, and I truly think I was meant to win this book from Goodreads First Reads.
It hits so close to home,

I don't want to divert any of the attention away from the book because it deserves all the attention it can get, but I have a disease called pancolitis.
It's not cancer obviously but it drastically increases your chance of getting cancer colon cancer, in fact.
The exact kind Carolann was diagnosed with, and the medicines they put you on increase your chance of getting between three and five other types of cancer.
It isn't definite, but the cword is a looming possibility and that possibility increases exponentially every year.
There is literally nothing that can be said that can ease the fear I feel toward the future.
Or so I thought. This book proved me wrong,

The summary on GoodReads actually gives a very good description of what happens, but out of formality here's my version of the summary: Sherri and Carolann become best friends, and everything is going great until Carolann gets sick.
She eventually gets diagnosed with cancer and that battle rages on for years until she finally loses her battle and her life.


Needless to say it all feels real, because it all is real, I don't have cancer, but I do have a chronic illness and so many of the things Carolann says and feels are things that I have experienced.
What helped me the most was seeing things from the other side, When you have a chronic illness, it's so easy to feel victimized and it's hard to see things from any perspective but your own.
This book has helped me see things from the outside and the absolute most comforting thing this book has helped me realize is that they will be okay.
When Carolann died, it took a while, but everyone was okay, They weren't just existing, they were living,

This book put me at peace, I am so grateful to Sherri Maner for sharing this story, It was so touching, and I am literally going to suggest it to everyone I know, Everyone who reads, at least, How do you survive when someone you've loved has been ripped from your life in the blink of an eye Where do you find the strength to make it through the loneliness and devastation that death leaves behind Carolann and Sherri met as neighbors but became best friends as they traveled side by side as women, wives, and mothers.
At the same time Carolann was diagnosed with cancer, Sherri fought to save her unborn daughter during a troubled pregnancy.
Through faith and modern medicine Sherri gave birth to a healthy daughter, Carolann's cancer was stifled into remission but, the victory was short lived, Carolann's world continued to be plagued by the monster that eventually ended her life, Tragically, their relationship ended without a last touch or final word between best friends, Sherri was left devastated, empty, and longing for the strength to move past her lost friendship, With a miraculous last gift from beyond the grave, Sherri was given the strength and courage she prayed for.
Life Must Go On is the heartfelt journey of two women brought together by fate, ripped apart by death and recounted by the one left behind.
This was truly most beautifully written book that touch me so much, Sherri wrote with heart felt emotion that brought you into the sadness of two families had to endure ,and shown the beauty of two who were best friends ,and the bond the share that will move all who read it.
I am truly honer by this gift Sherri brought in my life ,as I know so well that life must go on when my mother died.
