on Winters Kiss (World in Shadows, #1.5)

I wasn't the only one worried about Winter's fate at the end of Rising Shadows, To help calm us readers down and lead the way into Book Two expected late Aug it looks like, Bridget Blackwood was nice enough to provide us with a little filler to let us know what's been going on.

I loved seeing Winter again and was so glad that she might still have a chance at her own HEA.
It also set up a very tastely little conflict to add to the problems she's already having, I loved it! Can't wait to see how things end up in book two,

This book was received in exchange for an honest review

See more at: sitelink bittenbyromance. com It's a very very good thing that it is noted that this is NOT Varian and Winter's full story, because if it was, there is no end to the harassment you'd get from me, Bridget Blackwood, No end.
Okay well, since orange isn't my color, there likely is an end to it, but you get what I'm saying, yes!

Though just a short story to show the current status of Winter and Varian, Winter's Kiss answers a lot of questions and also leaves open a lot of future possibilities.

I found Varian to be an interesting character in Rising Shadows, its hard to take him seriously sometimes, between his innate crazy and seemingly bipolar attitudes.
But it's pretty plain to see there is a hidden depth to the Vampire, I can't wait to see that depth explored further in his full story.

Winter, well, you can't help but feel for Winter and want to give her a big ol hug, Her life hasn't been easy, and though I'm sure we haven't heard all of it, what little we do know

just kind of sucks.
But I love that she's such a strong female character and doesn't let any of it pull her down or hold her back.
She stands firm and does what she needs to,

Though it is not long Winter's Kiss is still full of action, humor and Hello Hotness! It is a great little scene to slip into the series between books leaving open a range of places Winter and Varian's story can lead to.
I can't wait for the rest of their story, I received a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review,

Winter and Varian Oh my SWOON,
I instantly fell in love with these characters, I love how Varian has completely hid himself away, yet the beauty and brains of Winter have him coming out of his shell to fall in love.

I loved the mystery involved and not know what was going to happen next,

Again Miss Blackwood, HIGH praises from me! LOVED IT! A gift from the author

Great catch up work for Varian and Winter.

This mesmerizing short story gives readers a glimpse of Varian and Winters romance as they try to handle everything that is going on in their life.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with suspense, drama, action and romance, The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and the well orchestrated drama and suspense draw the reader in while the compelling character ensure that the readers want to know more.

The chemistry between Varian and Winter burns hot and the readers just know that they are meant for each other and that they will somehow work through all the drama and excitement that has taken over their life.
This tease of a story answers some questions but of course arouses lots of curiosity about others and I cant wait to read the second book in the series.
If theres no body then that generally means there was no death, I really hoped there would be more to the story with Winter and Varien and I am glad there is, Now to sit and wait very impatiently for the next book to come out : Good to know there is more in store for Varian and Winter.
But it still leaves so much open!!! I tried again, This series just isn't for me, I really enjoyed this. The only thing I didn't like was how short it was, I really started to like Varian in the first book, and how it ended just threw me for a loop, So I liked that this short story opens up a whole new set of possibilities for him amp Winter, Really looking forward to the rest of the series now, Attention! Winter's Kiss has been added as part of the story in Rising Shadows, You can read it there, It is not available anywhere else,
