Read Online Under The Never Sky: The Complete Series Collection Sketched By Veronica Rossi Formatted As Audio Books
was a very enjoyable series, with characters whose traits I could admire,
Love, love, love this series!
I absolutely adore this series, from the very beginning, I mean who wouldnt with a storyline like this And a MC like Perry And a heroine as strong as Aria
I also loved the extras on this series, though, I could use a little more of Perry and Aria.
Veronica Rossi If youre reading this, Im just saying, throw a girl an epilogue, Or a POV scene or something!
I agree with the previous readers that it had a slow start and the characters seemed a bit juvenile, but it became endearing as you moved to the story and forgot about the names of the characters and concentrated more on their content.
I really thought it was exciting and really couldn't wait to see what the author would create for the ending as I saw many possibilities for the outcome.
This collection includes all three novels and two novellas in the series,
Under the Never Sky: Exiled from her home, the enclosed city of Reverie, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wastelandknown as The Death Shopare slim.
Then Aria meets an Outsider named Perry, He's wilda savageand her only hope of staying alive, A hunter for his tribe in a merciless landscape, Perry views Aria as sheltered and fragileeverything he would expect from a Dweller, But he needs Aria's help too she alone holds the key to his redemption,
Roar and Liv: Before Perry and Aria, there was Roar and Liv, Set in the harsh but often beautiful world of Veronica Rossi's Under the Never Sky, this captivating prequel novella stands on its own for new readers and offers series fans a fascinating look into the character of Roar.
Through the Ever Night: It's been months since Aria last saw Perry, Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission, Now, finally, they are about to be reunited, But their reunion is far from perfect, The Tides don't take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller, And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe's precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.
Brooke: Following the stunning climax in Through the Ever Night, the Tides have been forced to seek shelter from the Aether storms in a dismal, secluded cave.
But Brooke's memories of the cave go back much further, to when she and Perry used to come here together, Set just before the events of Into the Still Blue, this breathtaking novella is a satisfying standalone for new readers as well as an exciting glimpse at favorite characters from the trilogy.
Into the Still Blue: The earthshattering conclusion to Veronica Rossi's epic Under the Never Sky trilogy, Their love and their leadership have been tested, Now it's time for Perry and Aria to unite the Dwellers and the Outsiders in one last desperate attempt to bring balance to their world, I really liked this series and thought the clash between worlds was cool, It was a gritty story and you never knew what was going to happen, At the end of bookI was happy it was finally over, I suggested these books to a friend of mine as an alternative to read after the Hunger Games, It is an intense coming of age journey epic love story kinda book,
I wish they would have played up Aria's gift more, . seemed like it got lost in the plot of therd book, Also, the Dome people seemed to be written very shallow anddimensional, I like to see characters developed a little more, maybe the author was in a hurry to finish it, I believe people have reasons for being like they are, instead it seems so many authors have good guys verses bad guys and there is no inbetween.
No explanation of what made them that way, When in reality everyone is a little of both Good and Bad, The begging of the first book was completely boring but got way better as it went on I was going to do reviews for each book in the series separately, but as I finished the series I realized I gave them each the same rating.
So to speed things up for you the curious reader, I will review the entire series in one fowl swoop,
So, book one is Under the Never Sky, This book is very indepth and interesting, The premise is post apocalyptic, with a tinge of "whats wrong with us today", It touches on many current day problem such as pollution and its damage on the environment, segregation due to differences, and the constant use of technology.
All in all, this action packed romance has a lot of moral lesson, It is a worth while read,
Book two is called Through the Ever Night, This was an emotional book, I'll be honest, it had me crying a lot, I cried a river then went rafting down it, the feels In addition, I learned in this book that Veronica is a very smart author in the way she made every book connect seamlessly, but separately each book had its own major challenge.
I believe that that is why I was never bored reading this trilogy, Although, Through the Ever Night was my least favorite book of the series, it was still a very good read,
The third and final book is Into the Still Blue, After the last two books, I was glad to find the third book was dealing with the ultimate and underlying problem in the entire series, This book was a giant do or die, Very intense. I refuse to give away anything that could ruin anything for you the potential reader, to be safe Ill stop here,
All of these books are very good, not the best books that have ever read, but they are better then a lot of the books that have been coming out recently.
I do recommend it, but not to people who are sick of post apocalyptic novels, . So, as I said in the beginning I gave all of the books, in the end, the same rating, I give these books each FOUR STARS!!
Want more of me Go to: sitelink blogspot Just when it starts to get interesting, it ends, I also have issues with some of the action sequences feeling too abrupt, Yet I feel this was an improvement from the second installment, It is amazing, the writing, the story, the characters they are all just amazing, The characters and the narrative is especially great since you get to read different point of views which i always have immensely enjoyed, One of the few books i just could not put down, A must read for sure,
Loved it!! Its amazing! OVERALL:,stars
Roar and Liv Under the Never Sky,stars
This was a great insight into roar and Liv's feelings and relationship, This made me love roar's character even more and I love getting the fresh perspective on Liv,
I also really liked how we get to see a different side to Perry and the life he had to grow up with, I liked seeing the different family dynamics that is hinted at in the first book,
Under the Never Sky Under the Never Skystars
Aria liked her world of make believe in the realms until they turned into a horrifying reality that she had to face caused of letting a savage into the building she is cast out on her own away from the only home she has ever known and into an unknown world she has spent her life fearing.
Perry grew up in this world and learned how to survive but he now needs the help of one person who doesn't belong in the world he grew up to help him get his nephew back.
This was quite the story, The only thing that I didn't really like about it was the time span increments at some points, I up fully understand the rationale behind it but I just kept getting annoyed,
I loved how this wasn't a love at first sight story and that the characters had to learn and understand from one another, Rossi did a great job in showing the different worlds that both aria and Perry grew up in and plausibly making them fit together in something neither fully understood.
I was a little confused about Perry's abilities in the beginning but Rossi did a good job fully explaining everything by the end,
Through the Ever Night Under the Never Sky,stars
As aria is forced back into the outside lands while being blackmailed by Hess, Perry is finding his life just as difficult trying to be the new leader of the tides especially when the storms are increasing and hunger is very real threat.
But overcoming the odds is what both of them do best and when they are together they can fight through any hardship,
This had an interesting turn of events for me, I love how the story line is going together with the characters and how even though aria and Perry are so good together they are also able to stand on their own, as seen a lot in this book.
Brooke Under the Never Sky,stars
I didn't like Brooke before and I don't like Brooke now after reading this, This little excerpt seemed kind of pointless in the skim of things, I could have done without reading it, We did get some good insight into Brookes character but nothing that I thought was noteworthy or redeeming, It seemed more of a boy crazed session than anything
else,
Into the Still Blue Under the Never Skystars
Everything has changed and betrayal is seen everywhere, With Cinder captured, Aria and Perry have to find a way to stop Hess and Sable from their plan, As their world is coming to an end due to the Aether and epic battle will ensue for who will be able to make it to the Still Blue.
This book was not exactly how I was thinking the story as going to go and that was a delightful surprise, I liked how Rossi put in the good and bad of things with Aria and Perrys relationship in this one, a couple cant always be happy about everything.
I felt really bad for Roar but I am glad about how the ending turned out,
This was a great series and I am excited to see what the author has in store next, My Favorites! Things I liked about this book: the story did move along at a good pace
Things I did not like:
Unrealistic romance
Settings that were too vague to really see
Too many unanswered questions and plot holes WAAAAY too many plot holes
The author moves the story into settings and situations that are just.
They don't feel natural. They feel like she was trying to describe a dream where the setting and people keep shifting, Stuff kept happening that didn't actually feel like it was right for the characters, . .
Overall, I would not recommend this series,
