The story sucked me in with the detailed characters and plot line and I found myself constantly rooting for Jackson to get his revenge! This was the first book Ive read by Shanora but it certainly wont be my last.
I completely enjoyed this book, It started with a bang and kept on going, You fall completely in love with Jackson, I think part of his charm was the fact that he didn't realize how desirable he actually was, The other part was his devotion to his deceased family, Even years later he never stopped thinking about them and wanting to take revenge for them, I was happy to see that he did have a sense of family even after what he experienced, I loved the characters of Jess and Ker and how much they cared, Shanora did a great job of adding depth to these characters, Take the time to read this book, You will not be disappointed! The Story of Jackson Haddock will be ready to release on Novemberth! : I really enjoyed this book! I think that it is one of the first times that I actually had a scene in my head all the way through the book of the scenery and the backgrounds! The plot was so action packed! I cannot fault Shanora at all for writing an action scene after reading this book! I normally don't like books told completely from a male perspective but this book is definitely an exception! I felt that the story was told better from a male point of view! The main character is obviously Jackson Haddock and I really liked him! He was sweet and protective of everyone that he knew! I also felt so sorry for him! Belle Fulton was the love interest of Jackson and I thought that she was very cute and strong! I didn't like how she sort of played Jackson at the start though! The secondary characters were very well written as well and they brought so much to the story! The cover is also very hot! Big thank you to Shanora for an ARC of The Story of Jackson Haddock!

I LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS BOOK!
I'm usually a paranormal or a fantasy reading freak but I can deal with a contemporary love and action novel like this one.
It was given to me as an early copy in exchange for a review, The book alone was a nice read, It proved so much and made me think alot about my life and how bad it would be if i were to lose my family, I don't think i would be able to breath if i were to lose them, but the book was amazing, I loved the first book of the helena zane series so imagine how i feel about this one! I feel too goo about it, i loved jackson so much, he was a lovely character with so much heart that made me swoon, he was so sexy and i loved him cause he stood up for what he believed in which was his family and his friends, i loved the way he was and im glad he didn't give up because if he had, i would have been really upset with him, there were times in the book where i actually did think that he was going to give up without some kind of fight, but he kept his daddy's word and lived with it and it made him a better man,
this story felt so real and it had so much emotion that i felt for him a lot, i could really see through his eyes and when he cried, i cried, Jackson is a tough guy and i love when he's ready to fight for the poor people and defend for them, there was one part where they showed up at donny's house and killed those men! it was so thrilling and i was really sucked into it because i didnt know what was going to happen.
but i hated walker with a passion and he deserved what he got, jackson was right when he said walker didnt need to live cause walker was a selfish jerk and he needed to be smacked,
but all in all, the author did a great job with this book and i hear that she's already started a new series and this book isn't even out yet.

YAYYYYY FOR JACKSON AND YAYY FOR SHANORA'S TALENT IN THIS STORY,

jackson's story was written perfectly for him and it actually felt like he was talking, . . kind of like a movie, this book has movie potential and if it does make it, im going to be all over that, swooning and hoping that the actor that they choose for jackson is sexy! ha
but good job shanora! you did great with this and i highly recommend!

The Story of Jackson Haddock is filled with deception, passion, hurt, broken hearts, and even romance, He encounters a handful of problems at such a young age that he isnt sure whether hell even be able to see the next day because his life will only remain at stake the longer that Walker is alive.
But Jackson is a boy that doesn't like to lose, doesn't like to fail, and doesn't like to give up, What a great book! This book was very well written, It is filled with detail and you can easily lose yourself in the settings of the story, Characters are easy to relate to, Get ready to cry a bunch, this story is very touching, I like how the story is set in thes as well, Good job Shanora! I was gifted this book from the author in exchange for a review, Ive never done a review before but i thought I'd give it a try, I am usually a paranormal reader but this book drew me in, The story is so believable, and I found myself rooting for Jackson from the very beginning, The author does a great job delveloping his character, and I was attached to him from the first page, I went through all of his emotions with him from sadness, fear, distrust, hopelessness, to finally finding peace and happiness, This book is a great read and i highly recommend you to embark on Jackson's journey, Thank you Shanora for sharing your story with me, Very nice read that shows you that being a bully never pays off, Walker was this jerk who basically was just a bully that used the fact that he was "rich" to get away with bullying "poor" people, This was my first read by Shanora Williams and I look forward to reading more of what she has to offer, Jackson Haddock was a definate likeable character who sticks up for the underdog, Nice guys do come out on top :,
