really don't know how I feel about this book, . . to me it had no real plot, . and some parts made no sense whatsoever, . . I did finish it that's about all I can say, . . Interesting. A very odd story but I couldn't put it down, This a story of a deaf, orphan and how he was living at the orphanage, The matron mistreated him and he really didn't have any friends, he was a sad young character, Then he's adopted by a family with twins, They happen to be vampires, It is at times humorous, sad and interesting, Worth the money spent
Great read, was kept on the edge of the seat through most of the book, Kind of a weird way to portray vampires but it works, Way unfair how it ended in the middle of a date
between the, There better be another book coming out, And soon I hope. Very different from your usual Vampire Romance, I enjoyed the book, however I never really liked to theVampire MCs, . . they never clicked with me, I also felt that Rolland/Riley was just along for the ride, . . stupidly skipping along in happiness, Maybe it was the disconnect with the MCs that lowered my rating, The writing was good, the premise was different, There were a couple of huhs for me that also affected my rating
Overall, I recommend trying the book it is something different.
You may not feel the same disconnect I did, .stars rounded down
This was sooooo weird! Still not exactly sure what to think of it, I really enjoyed this book, It is very well written, it's a unique story and it doesn't get boring, It's very moving and I'm just fangirling over this book right now,
I like all of the stories this author has written, but this one is really outstanding and just extraordinary!
It's very creative and original, not at all like your runofthemill vampire/human love story.
It wasn't what I expected it to be at all, but it is very good, If you're not sure whether you want to read it or not, I'd say: go for it!
And while you're at it, check out the author's others stories as well.
Having grown up in the local orphanage, Rolland always asked what every other orphan likely did who found themselves spending years there, Why was he there Unfortunately, each time he asked, the woman who ran the orphanage just answered him by holding up a sign saying that she was busy and he should go play.
After his eighth birthday he stopped asking, Besides, he had a feeling he already knew why his parents hadn't wanted him, . . he was completely deaf.
Twin vampires Dartanian and Bryce aren't ones to enjoy humans unless they're doing so feeding from them or in bed, So, when their parents decide to bring home a human boy to try and tame their more deadly sides, the brothers can't help but find the little experiment to be humorous.
. . and the test subject, delicious, Kierei is an avid reader and has been writing for over ten years, She has a Great Pyrenees/Husky mix which likes to hinder her writing any way possibleas well as moo at the squirrels outside, Beneath the Waves is her first published work and is about an adorably aggressive merman and the scientist who finds him after he gets stranded because of an injury.
Its a fast flowing book and she absolutely loved writing it and is currently working on the second book in the series, Kierei is an avid reader and has been writing for over ten years, She has a Great Pyrenees/Husky mix which likes to hinder her writing any way possibleas well as moo at the squirrels outside, Beneath the Waves is her first published work and is about an adorably aggressive merman and the scientist who finds him after he gets stranded because of an injury.
