Attain Cowboy Smith Authored By Glenn J. Soucy In Brochure
enjoyed this mystery suspense thriller, I lived in Cedar City, Utah for thirty year and thank the author for reminding me of a place that was my second home for so long, I also thanks him for this wonderful story told to a young girl by her mom, don't want to give away any secrets so I will just say Amy Clayson lives in a beautiful place called Duck Creek in Utah where her parents own a restaurant.
When a strange cowboy steps in the door he is going to change Amy's life forever and take readers on a twist filled ride, The author ha an incredible ability to invite readers into the book and set them down for a great tale, Same great book, better cover, I read and write contemporary romances, so this was a bit of a departure from the norm for me, Cowboy Smith is a mystery and an action adventure as well as a romance, The blurb sounded intriguing and, lets face it, who doesnt love a cowboy
I was so glad I read this, Right from the start I was drawn into the story and involved in the lives of the characters,
It is told from the point of view of Amy Clayson,, who works in her familys restaurant, Aunt Sues, in Cedar Creek situated in the mountains, three hours north of Las Vegas.
She also lives in an apartment above the restaurant,
One night, a stranger comes into the restaurant carrying a rifle case and a pistol, He appears to know a lot about the family, including their names and what is on the menu, Amy is intrigued, which has as much to do with his ocean blue eyes as the mystery that surrounds him, He tells her his name is Cowboy but very little else,
Despite everyone warning her to stay away including Cowboy himself when he catches her stalking him, Amy is determined to find out more about him, In true romance style, she just cant get this man out of her mind,
Her determination and persistence, however, gets her into some serious scrapes, including a time when Cowboy saves her life but ends up in trouble for it,
This story is well plotted with plenty of action, drama and excitement, And the romance was nicely done too, I would have liked to have seen more scenes with just the two of them getting to know each other and, would have liked to have been inside Cowboys head to see things from his perspective.
But, as the story was told from Amys point of view only, we only have her side of things,
Having said that, I thought the author did a good job of describing things through Amys eyes and the description of setting was done well too, Ive never been to that part of the world, but after reading this novel, I feel I know it well,
Altogether an enjoyable read and I look forward to reading more of this authors work,
From the start of this story I was intrigued as the characters and story grew into a nonstop read, The author kept me
interested throughout the story, It was a dark and snowy night that Cowboy first showed up in the small, mountaintop restaurant, He had long hair, a beard, but most of all, he was mysterious, After stating that he was in search of a mountain lion that was killing his cattle, Amy Claysons curiosity about him was piqued,
She was certain that shed never seen him before, and that was a rarity in the tiny village, Yet, he not only knew her name, and the restaurant staffs names, but he also knew the menu by heart, Cowboy appeared rude and cold hearted that night, However, there was something buried deep within his blue eyes that kept Amy asking for more,
Amys close knit family wanted her to stay away from Cowboy, Her lifelong friend, the deputy sheriff, begged her to leave the young man alone, All of her life she had followed the rules and minded her business, Now, something had changed. She was on a path that would either save the strange man or lead to her complete destruction,
An amazing mystery filled, action packed love story! You will fall in love with the entire family, Amazing
What a fantastic and amazing story, So many twist and turns and ugly cries, It made the conclusion that much sweeter! Fantastic job!
Will Amy be lead to total devastation Or will she rescue an outlandish young man known as Cowboy Shed kept to herself and lived a decent life, but she couldnt continue this way, for things were no longer the same.
The sheriff, and her family insisted she stay away from the young man, but Amy felt an attraction to him, Good looking, rugged Cowboy entered the quaint, summit restaurant on a shadowy, snowwhite evening, He had a mysterious presence, The two had an attraction since he first set foot in the restaurant, How did he know her name and the menu by heart Deep in his striking blue eyes was a mystery, This is fast paced story with a penetrating plot, The characters are relatable and strong, Glenn J Soucy has a way of writing that will have your eyes glued to the pages, His style flows effortlessly, and his descriptive use of words will take you into the heart of the story, Filled with passion, faith and the will to persevere, Cowboy Smith is a wonderfully refreshing love story you dont want to pass up,
