It mixes well with some other books I am currently reading, Some good recipes, especially if youre vegetarian, There are still a few good meat recipes, I totally agree with the supplement ideas in this book, Our diets are not ideal for our bodies and we need supplements in order to make up for the lack of variety and depleted soils.
So, this book started with what most "health conscious/health topic specific" diet books start out with, . . the advice of the day and why you need to eat this way, The detox is what really turned me off, I would have given the book a lower rating, but where it got me was with the recipes,
Basically, the majority were clean eating recipes, . . which I loved. To me, it was the buy from local from farmers markets, I wouldn't say that is "Mediterranean" or "Wild", The main thing I walked away from this book with was the recipes, The information on gut health and how to detox was the main reason I checked out this book, The recipes were nothing special but we're in line with following Metsovas'
