Free Of Gods And Fae (Vegas Fae, #2) Interpreted By Tom Keller Displayed In Digital

see plenty of strange things when you're a P, I. in Las Vegas, but even that couldnt prepare excop Robert Hoskins for what was to come, At first he couldn't believe that all those stories he'd been told as a child were true.
But hearing that the Fae had taken the casinos over from the mob was something else, Elves, Dwarves, Werewolves and Faeries were just the beginning and battling dark Mages, the opening act,

Having banished his enemy to the cold hell of Tartarus he'll now have to travel to the Fae lands to claim his birthright.
Along the way, and after, there's Demons and Dragons to fight and a trip down the river Styx to the gates of Hades itself is on the playlist if he'll want to defeat the dark Fae's minions and undo an ancient curse.

From the author of "Return of the High Fae," this is book two in the Vegas Fae stories but a standalone novel in its own right.

Sin City will never be the same,

Completely reedited and remastered to address issues brought up in the earlier edition, Top notch

A fresh take on urban fantasy, really enjoying binging the series, highly recommend.
I need to use seven more words

Fantastic journey

Absolutely thrilling ride as are high far embarks on the continued adventure trying to put the pieces together,a couple of possible new characters emerge on an excellent story ,very well told with just enough humor.
Awesome continuation of the story of excop Robert Hoskins in Of Gods and Fae, The storyline developed nicely and was pulling for the whole time, I enjoyed the book in audible edition, awesome work so far, This plot is getting to convoluted to follow, please make sense soon, Easy read that kept me involved in the story God but predictable

Not a masterpiece or a classic but worth the price and worth buying the next installment.

Anything new is better than old Anita Blake filler, Loved it too! This is only on the audio version, I loved the book and decided as I love audio books I would buy it, It was horrible. The quality was tinny and fuzzy, I deleted and downloaded a few times and each time it was the same, I could not make it through the audio book, I hated returning it but it was so scratchy that I just could not listen to it.
Something needs to be done to make the quality better, A sequel that lives up to the first book,

I'm beginning to like this series more and more, It really should be on tv or at the movies, There is action, drama, romance and intrigue, I'm ready for book. Thisnd book was as good as the first, Sure is amazing what our strong hero can cope with! Also involved in protecting him and the other Fae are a Great Dane mostly dog and a black cat that can be a panther.
These animals talk to Robert, and the other Fae, It makes it fun and interesting,

Now the troops are going to travel into the lands of the Fae, . . and Robert will meet those he is set to be King over, Interesting development with lots of action and plenty of quickthinking and

politics, with myth and legend mixed in nicely.

I am really enjoying this modern day tale of Myth!! Now book three, . . The adventures of Robert Hoskins continue, A tantalizing mix of The Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars and Twilight,

The second book in the continuing adventures of Robert Hoskins, Hoskins is a retired Cop turned PI who learns he has mysterious powers that have been hidden from him for his entire life.
He learns that the the only world he has know is intertwined with one he just learned about and both are interconnected yet independent of each other.
The reader learns that Hoskins has come to terms with the powers he possess and now is beginning to understand and learn how to use his powers.
He begins a quest to free the oppressed and the adventures continue from Mount Olympus to the Gates of Hell.

The characters continue to evolve in this book and new characters are introduced, Hoskins continues to deal with his new found powers and adjusts to being royalty, sometimes with great success, sometimes not so much.
The author is able to paint a picture the reader can easily envision, There are dwarves, elves and fairies accompanied by vampire like creatures, werewolves, dragons, demons, gods and more.

This book is well written and very enjoyable, The reader does not have to read the first book in the series to understand this book although doing so will certainly make the reading experience much more enjoyable.
I look forward to more in the series, Each time Robert thinks he's starting to understand being part fae, something else happens and things get more complicated! Enjoying this series.
: Exciting!

I love the characters and storylines! I do have some favorites and enjoy learning about each characters history.
The action and conversations fit the characters and I feel that I know them personally, Rating.stars

The series so far is just okay, I thought there might be room for the series to grow because the premise was pretty good, but so far it's just mediocre.
It is also starting to get convoluted with the addition of a bunch of new characters and storylines.
The things I didn't like in the last book are still there, I hate how much this author writes about coffee, Robert must have the largest coffee cup collection in the world because he always has a different cup with some quirky writing on it.
The other problem I had in the first book is present again and it is really getting to me.
That is Roberts lack of knowledge in the fae world, People don't tell him anything because they think he should already know it even though most of them know that he just became aware of this world about a month ago.
Then there are the people that should be explaining things to Robert but don't, There is always something about how there is no time to tell him now, but they will talk later.
The author tries to make this lack of information okay by making Robert pissed off about it as well.
Maybe trying to make the reader empathize with Robert because he is upset about it as well I did empathize with Robert feeling frustrated with the lack of information.
However, this did not make me like Robert more because he just yelled and then went ahead and did whatever he was told to do anyway.
I would have done nothing until someone explained to me what was happening, Plus there were periods where Robert was absolutely clueless and then there were times when he knew exactly what to do, including formal proclamations.
A bunch of new characters/species entered the series and there origin wasn't fully explained including a dragon, and an Angel.
Not to mention Roberts kids It seems like the dark forces have been planning things for at leastyears and nobody seemed to know about it.
Now Robert and his allies are scrambling to catch up, If his Fae allies were so powerful, how could they have not noticed all that was happening around them for the lastyears! I haven't decided if I will continue the series.
It's not bad, just nothing special, Me Vegas Fae

The powers seem to grow exponentially too fast but overall a solid entry in the series.
Most of the novel takes place outside of Lad Vegas but it all stays connected, Highly recommended

Hope the third is already done, I have thoroughly enjoyed both books, and sincerely hope that the wait for the next isn't so long! This was a fun next installment in the series.
I enjoyed the plot progression and the way some lose ends from the previous book were resolved.
The characters in this series are so enjoyable,

I think this book lacked some of the punch that the first book had, For all the action that was going on, the reading experience didn't carry the same excitement as the first book.
That said, I really enjoyed it and look forward to more,.tostars, I really do like this series/book, I will continue with the series,
Even the bad guys are great!

This is not one of those second books used to firm up the world in which our hero/heros live, this is a dive right in and continue on to another adventure.
This is a laugh out loud, shake your head, smile like a fool read, that will make you look at everything around you just a little closer! Still flat, not much change between the world building and the fight scenes.
Hope the series improves. great follow on from the first book, author is getting settled into what looks like a very well drawn out story line, looking forward to what comes next, Just finished the book and I like the direction this is taking, it has the same feeling as novelbut at least Robert is not so loss.
Now there are a couple of repeated statement that contradict each other we have the character state something at one point and a couple of pages later his dialogue infers the opposite of this statement, this could lead to major plot holes in the future if not handled correctly.
Besides the decision he makes regarding his childrens feels like a repetition of the same problems he is facing.
BookDone

Its not the worst book / series I have read, but again we seem to have speeded up action sequences with not much thought going into them.
We need more detail amp slow it down! However at least its not as bad as another series of books where it was almost written like, “And then, and then, and then, and then” !!!

Book three here I come! Tom Keller is a retired cop and former computer forensics expert and Federal Public Defender investigator.
