Yes a m/m romance besieged with Lust, Noah you did a superb job, If you were not a fan of m/m books, this was a game changer, You have sailors, pirates sexy, lustful pirates, maidens, cannons, shifters all at sea, Shifters of different forms and genre, MC Thomas is a forthright, stand up guy who lust after men, willing men, Adventurous steadfast and true is our main character, Radbert a gorgeous twink like character, looking for love ,that Thomas enjoys greatly, A great cast of secondary characters enjoying life on the Manhunter, Treachery and treason, sword cutlass fighting, revenge, drinking and a ship full of fun, All this awaits you upon reading Lust in the Caribbean,

"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book, " I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this book because, I don't care for pirate theme books or movies, You absolutely changed my mind and I loved this book, The author has a brilliant storyline that sucks you in and grabs your attention until the end,
The depth of his imagination for his characters will leave you very satisfied and craving more, The storyline was very well written, I loved all the surprises of the crew and characters, They were so unique from the usual pirate stories, Even though the crew was a mixture of different cultures they worked and played in perfect synchronicity, I liked the backgrounds on some of the crew, it made me like them more, That's why this story appealed to me, Thomas was a lucky man when he boarded the Manhunter ship, He could finally feel he could be himself and not hide his true feelings,
I liked how the crew accepted Thomas as one of them and supported and helped him with skills he lacked in,
The author always integrates struggles that the LGBT community deal with daily, I would highly recommend this book if you love a pirate storyline unlike any you read before, Grab any of this author's books and escape to a wonderful inventive world, Great job with this one John DNF

I'll just admit to myself that this was just not for me,

I thought it had an interesting blurb so I picked it up, To my delight it started fairly well, had some crazy, funny, unbelievable scenes which led me to think that it would get better as the story went on but Alas! It was not to be.


I wouldn't have minded the many, many, MANY sex scenes if the story had had a single character I could have either related to, tolerated, invested enough in to despise OR a plot I could be pulled in by.


As it was now, none of those things apply to me sooo I had to give up, Totally outstanding. Enjoyed every minute of it, Brilliant storyline had everything , swashbuckling action on the high seas ,adventure ,love, non stop pace and a few of Noahs special characters thrown in , everything is depicted very vividly so you can actually picture very easily what everyone looks like sounds like as well as everywhere they travel to.
Author very knowledgeable about the period it is set in descibes all of the different ships , weapons and equipment etc, In depth. Totally loved it , could of kept on reading this story for hours, This author just keeps getting even better, You nailed it. Nonstop adventure

Loved this story, Nonstop adventure. Surprisingly characters. Did not go where I expected which thrilled me, Multileveled story with complex characters, No wonder Noah Harris has become an automatic but for me, To say Thomas was NOT having a good day would be an understatement, All he wanted was a little relief and ended up chained and soon to be beaten to death,
To the rescue Come the pirates on the Manhunter, They take what is in the hulls of the ship Thomas is about to be killed on and offers him safe passage on their ship, He takes them up on this offer but first he rights a wrong, Too bad he didn't take care of the entire problem,
Ahh but the pleasures one could find on the Manhunter, for all the men on that ship were like himself and they shared themselves freely,
Quite a bit happens on this boat, both bad and amazingly good, Mostly good but you know how things can go wrong and all hell breaks loose,
Soon he is faced not only with loving someone who doesn't want to return that feeling and a decision that has to be made, Be loyal to the man who saved your life at the risk of your own, or go with a man who, should you cross him, will kill you with no remorse.

This book contains a lot of sex, killing and something that Thomas does with a part of the ship that defies explanation, you have to read it to believe it,
Creatures of all types reside in this book, Their story must be read,

There is M/M sex of all kinds, Shifters, knotting, pirates, Mermen, dirty talk, uninhibited sexiness, raw naked power,and so much more !

In theth century, Thomas knew liking men for sex, being a calamite, was the lowest of the low.
He'd been caught in the privy and was to be beaten to death, Just before the whip cracked,


a ship was closing in on them fast, and all hell broke loose, He was offered asylum on the "Manhunter", where homosexuals were accepted, He felt safe and happy there, Thomas did his work and never had an empty bed, because they were a lusty crew,


Thomas also learned of shape shifters, werewolves, were bears, etc, These things he thought were only tales told to frighten folks, He made a few mistakes, became a crew member, with a hilarious initiation, And so we see the adventures as they went ashore, the battles, the plundering, and the hard work,


The descriptions and jargon were used well and made it seem more real and exciting,

A peg leg, battle at sea, a treasure, and more will keep you enthralled,

This is a well done pirate romp and full of action, with lots of M/M sex, The Merman sex is positively glowing !
This is fun, and we get a HFN ending that leaves us dreaming of their future adventures,

Honestly, I cannot say why I read this book, Thomas is just a man who likes to sleep with anyone or thing he encounters, This is basically what this book consist of him on a boat that is really just one big orgy, Sure there is the whole being at sea with pirates following along on their adventures and let's not forget the ol' faithful treasure map for good measure but sex is the majority of it.
Thomas' sexcapades would of been a more accurate title since he has sex with numerous men, sex with werebears, sex with werewolves, sex with mermen and whatever other weird creature the author wanted to throw in.
Yeah, I am still shaking my head at myself for this one, A different time. .

Can you imagine being in time where being in love can carry a death sentence In this time an place we meet a sailor who feels any attraction towards a man he could be put to death.
Thomas is caught in a privee with another man in an intimate embrace, Will Thomas face his death Or will a stranger save him Will Thomas save himself from the strict spiteful world Can Love overcome haters You will not regret reading this story of love an learning to love yourself.



Being a young gay man in the yearis not easy, as Thomas Treadwell can attest, He yearns to be free to be who he is, Shipping out on the Virtue, under Captain Temperance Stone, Thomas discovers that he is not alone in his desire for relations with the same sex, The ships head becomes the place for men to hook up anonymously in the night in order to save face during the light of day, But when Thomas is careless and gets caught with another man, there is hell to pay as Captain Stone orders the two men to be whipped to death!

Thomas watches helplessly as his previously unknown hookup is beaten first and dies.
But just as its Thomas turn to face death, a lookout fortuitously announces the arrival of another ship, Not just any ship, but a pirate ship called Manhunter, infamous for its figurehead which resembles a muscular naked man with a golden appendage, and because it is rumored to contain an allgay crew!

The pirate ship, with its erotic take on the traditional Jolly Roger flag, hauls up beside the Virtue, which it clearly outguns.
Captain Stone has no choice but to surrender, after first ascertaining the safety of his crews “booty” among the gay pirates, who claim they dont need to ravish anyone, they have plenty of “booty” on their own ship.
The pirates board the ship and their captain, Captain Seawolf, discovers Thomas lashed to the mast and discovers why he is being punished then offers him a chance to go with the pirates, which Thomas reluctantly accepts.
He doesnt really wish to do so, as he doesnt agree with piracy as a way of life, but he also knows if he stays behind, he will die.
Quite the quandary.

And so the adventure begins,

Lust in the Caribbean can be looked on as one mans journey to be himself despite living in a time of great hypocrisy and prejudice, But primarily it is a sexual adventure, as Thomas revels in the freedom of living openly as a gay man among the pirates, There is a lot of sex in this book, believe it, as well as adventures, as the pirates go from situation to situation, And what is a pirate story without treasure Plus, once Thomas learns the secret of some of the crew, he is told he can never leave, but by then will he want to

Great literature No, its not.
The writing is rough at times, and is filled with blatantly purple prose, and it would definitely benefit from better editing, Not to mention, I would say, if given the chance to speak with Mr, Harris, please dont say sex juice ever again, Ever. That. Is. Not. Hot. The author certainly knows how to tell a tale, though, The story definitely held my attention, The characters are fairly wellwritten, and he does know how to write sex scenes, I suspect the major reason he hasnt been dinged for bestiality, though, is that he manages to veil it in the guise of the main character keeping his eyes closed and not seeing what or who he is actually copulating with under the full moon.
Oh, and did I mention theres a merman or two That being said, this is definitely only for mature audiences,

If youre looking for a story with a lot of sex, this one wont disappoint, Ive seen smutty books that arent nearly as well written, If youre looking for great fiction, go somewhere else, For what it is, I considered it to be satisfactory indeed, I might have to check out some of the authors other writing,
Well, that was a fun little romp, I even had to add a new category: all kinds of hotness, Fabulous cover and narrator too, Lust in the Caribbean by Noah Harris is the tale of ssilor Thomas Treadwell, Caught in a taboo act of finding his pleasures with another man, Thomas is facing the worst day of his soon to be ended life, Just as he watches his accomplice fade from this world and the pious sailors of The Virtue turn their sights on carrying through his death sentence, the ship is overtaken by the infamous ship The Manhunter and Thomas finds himself going on an adventure that will change his life forever and the acceptance needed to embrace his true desires.
Now he just needs to fight to defeat his past and keep his new home afloat,

With sexy scenes, adventure and action, drama and suspense, . . and some surprises, this well written story is filled with colorful characters and attention keeping scenes, I loved how easy it was to lose myself into this historical fantasy adventure with pirates, loot and man love,

For the Audiobook Craig Beck does a fantastic job narrating this tale of the High Seas, Each character

is given a unique "voice" that brings out personality and makes the story shine, It heightens the experience, helping the audience envision themselves surrounded by the action, Extremely captivating and recommended listen,
