love reading Ms. Cameron's stories and this was another great edition to the series, I loved Katrina's sass and feisty character, Nic was a deliciously, sexy uncommon hero who warmed my heart with how much he wanted to take care of his aging aunt and little sisters.
It's sometimes difficult to convey a wellrounded character in a novella but Ms, Cameron did not leave me with any unanswered questions, You get a good sense of all them well within their first introductions which is what I love about her writing style.


My only complaint though is that I loved the characters so much that I wanted the story to continue.
It would be nice to revisit this family when the little sisters are making their comeout wink, wink.
. . nudge, nudge and see what antics the twins can get into, . . just saying. :

I received a copy of this story for an honest review, Ms. Cameron is one of my favorite authors so I can't wait to read what she writes next, This was an utterly charming story, I have loved each of the Waltz with a Rogue Novella, but this has been my favorite by far.


I, much like Katrina, was charmed by Dominic St, Monte. He was a such a great hero and not all what I was expecting, which is good thing.
It was quite easy to see that Katrina and Dominic were the perfect pair and it was fun to watch them figure it out for themselves.


The whole time I was reading this story I had a smile on my face, Ms. Cameron crafted a great story full of witty banter, sizzling chemistry and full of heart, You won't be able to put down this story till you see how Katrina and Dominic will make it to their happy ending.

Steady paced, quick read! With interesting and engaging characters, a unique storyline, witty banter and romance.
I enjoy Ms. Cameron's witty banter among her characters, it gives her stories a down to earth feel, as well as, a bit of humor sometimes dry, sometimes not within her stories.
After all, life does bring on some sunshine after the rain,
The H/H are interesting, and engaging, The storyline is compelling, and very engaging, A secret or two, didn't go amiss, along with a pirate, whose not only a rogue but a scoundrel.
A feisty, strongwilled heroine, who enjoys helping others, With some betrayal, passion and a bit of Scandal, Take a quick Regency English romp through the pages of "To Tame a Scoundrel's Heart", You're be glad you did, I sure did, Share a bit of Ms, Cameron and her masterfully written tales, in "To Tame a Scoundrel's Heart", An enjoyable and very satisfying read!

Katrina says that she will help Nic find a suitable Duchess, Nicks aunt has other ideas for both of them,
Nic starts to have feelings for Katrina, Katrina keeps on waiting for Richard, But there is always a delay when he says he has to visit, Grab it and find out why Richard is delayed and is there a chance for Nic and Katrina To Tame a Scoundrel's Heart was a sweet romance.
It was filled with Ms, Cameron's usual fun and amusing conversation, Both the hero and heroine are strong characters filled with compassion for their loved ones, A great read for a rainy afternoon, Perfectly Witty amp heartfelt short story!! Fabulous!!

The chemistry between Nic and Kitty positively sizzles from the first meeting.
Instantly hooked both with Kitty's honest and witty musings and Nic's heart and roguish charm, I didn't want the book to end.
I even loved the subcharacters both in the Needhams as a family and Miss Sweeting and Nic's innocent sisters.
A thoroughly enjoyable read, my favourite so far in the series though I'm yet to read book, To be honest I thirst for more from the pair just know it would be an amusing read to hear about the next few years for the couple.
Fabulous!! This is the story of Katrina Needham, the feisty, confident daughter of a wealthy banker, and Dominic St.
Monte, nephew of a family friend, a successful privateer, and the new Duke of Pendergast, In addition to his duties to the Dukedom, Nic is now responsible for his Aunt Bertie who raised him whom he adores, and his sisters whom he does not know.
The Needhams invite the lot of them to come for an extended visit, and while they are in residence, Katrina will help him with his sisters and learning how to behave like a proper duke.
These two would be perfect together, but she believes she is about to become betrothed although Richard, her almost intended, has not been heard from lately and he wants a biddable wife who wont mind if he returns to sea once the family is settled.

Katrina and Nic have a wonderful chemistry, Their banter is witty and charming, Both are intelligent, caring people, Nic may be a rough and tough man of the sea, but he has a big heart, He wants to make a make a happy family and good life for his shy, scared sisters and sweet Aunt Bertie.
The secondary characters are great, The Needhams are understanding and willing to help Nic and his new family, The story is interesting and heartwarming, There is a twist or two and a bit of a surprise, Another winner for Collette Cameron, I enjoyed and recommend it,

Stevie Zimmerman is a talented narrator, The voices for this story were quite well done, from Nics deep baritone to Aunt Berties excited chatter to the soft voices of two shy little girls.
Collette Cameron has presented a banquet for the senses with To Tame A Scoundrel's Heart, Katrina and Nic parlay their love affair into an adventurous, turbulant, erotic and emotional whirlwind, A broken heart sends Katrina into the arms of the mysterious Duke of Pendergrast who seeks a wife that will help him in his new responsibilities.
From the start there appears to be real feelings between Nic and Katrina, However, secrets, former loves and a love of the sea stand eerily between a chance at happiness for these two.
There is never a dull moment with this sinfully romantic tale, Sweet with dry humor

I really enjoyed this novella, Wellwritten with nary a punctuation error, the author employs an entertaining mixture of dialogue, dry humor, and introspection to create a sweet and gently amusing romance.
As a bonus, the heroine isn't stuffy and the hero isn't an arrogant, womanizing boor, Well, I finished To Capture a Rogue's Heart and it was a lowStar, really good story that kept you interested but I almost dropped it to adue to a very melodramatic ending as far as one of the last conversations meaning people never talked like that and still don't except in class b movies and the fact the actual book ended at themark, still theis probably true if just barely : Formerly titled To Tame a Scoundrels Heart

The Needham's take them all into their home and Kitty starts immediately, During a dinner party she is told her supposed fiance is seen with a very pregnant woman, Now learning her Major is now a Marquess, he wants to throw the woman and newborn out to make a home with kitty.
He will need more money now to fix up the home as well, Kitty being the kind gentle soul she is, is not having it, She confronts Richard about his actions and learns he is an unkind, money hungry man, She throws him out. Nic having fallen in love with Kitty jumps at the chance and asks Kitty to marry him instead.
Realizing she has also fallen in with him over the their time together agrees, He is ready to sell his ship and live with her on land, She wanting some adventure doesn't let him and both agree to take some adventures and remain on land for their family.
A WinWin tale indeed! This is an absolutely charming Regency novella, Nic's inner monologue was absolutely hilarious as he tries to navigate his way from being a privateer to being a duke I loved the way that he realized early on that Katrina was the duchess he needed and they way he went allout to make it happen.


Katrina was one of the best Regency heroines I've ever read, Daughter of a wealthy, selfmade banker with half the Ton in his pocket, she is absolutely fearless, secure in the knowledge that her parents will have her back no matter what she chooses to do.
It was quite an interesting change to read a Regency where the heroine has a supporting and loving family a lot of the time the conflict in historicals is supplied by Family Issues.
I enjoyed the change.

There were a few proofreading and editing issues in the book, which is why unfortunately I have to knock it down to four, but I did enjoy it very much and I'd happily read more of the author's work at any time.
