so disappointed!

I really wanted to love this series, I'm a real sucker for stories about situations that characters have to work their way out of, especially when the situation is complicated by romance.

But the story here is so paper thin it isn't even worth getting invested in! More than that, the characters are downright unlikable.
A cheater A character who uses physical intimidation A weak plot device character who has ZERO personality I'm supposed to like these characters

On top of that the art is average at best and the romance is.
. . decidedly not romantic. Those scenes that are supposed to be romantic hold no excitment or interest,

Overall this manga just isn't good, At all. I first read this manhwa years ago when I was at high school, I totally fell in love with it back then, Reading it again after more thanyears, while a little silly, it's still very enjoyable, fun and one of the best.
./

A lot more lighthearted than I anticipated but still very enjoyable, I'm eager to see where this goes, ,

This is the last manga I have read so far and its aftertaste is so good that I am a bit afraid to spoil it with anything else although I know there are a lot of very good mangas out there.

Where should I start, . . mmm the plot is amazing, the art is beautiful and there are moments so hilarious that I could not help but LOL no matter where I was at the moment.

I love everything about this manga, I guess from the long ones it should be in my topalong with Viewfinder and Haru wo daite ita.

If you are a yaoi fan and have not read it, . . Go! I only captivated on artwork, not another!
although ended with HEA,i still don't like this storyline.
i don't know why.
BTW,i feels charmed with jiho character, ewon amp mookyul, maybe. but, less of mytaste although both of them is main character, fufufu
akhirnya memberanikan diri naruh yang beginian di goodreads, . .
manhwa boys love
really captivating gtlt for the whole series with slight spoilers!

:

I havent read or even encountered many boys love manhwa, but if theyre all like this then sign me up!

I liked a bunch of aspects in this series: the way the relationship develops there is an actual background/explanation to the feelings surfacing and even then the romance is not only about sex the artwork is pleasant for the eyes and based on other manhwa Ive read, in general, heaps better than the average the characters are drawn perfectly even tough its more or less yaoi its not graphic to an extreme degree, steamy scenes are quite scares actually, and it works the humor is brilliant, there are some golden scenes that had me rolling on the floor laughing the romance is adorable you cant help but squeal and fangirl like crazy, its incredibly easy to root for the main couple

and so on and on.

Yes, it does use some typical and cliché plot devices and it doesnt really have any rock solid plot but the ups and downs of Ewon and Mookyuls blossoming romance make up for what the manhwa may lack, and in truth it doesnt lack much at all.

Characters:

I dont know if it is humanly possible to express how much I absolutely totally utterly adore the spunky uke hero of this series Ewon is just too awesome and I cant ever imagine someone not loving him to bits.
It doesnt help that the art captures him perfectly and visualizes him as this boyish, pretty, clueless cutie, But lets count together all the main reasons he rules:

Smart he goes to university and studies like mad, he takes his education incredibly seriously and he succeeds.

Hardworking come on, the guy basically runs Mookyuls whole office, not business wise of course, but the whole place would crumble when hed leave and it did.
And despite being blackmailed, manipulated and threatened for being the errand boy, he excels and gives, Not to mention he used to have several part times jobs next to acing his exams,

Naive and simpleminded a good uke needs to have a sprinkle of naivety, and Ewon has more than that.

A fighter next to his struggles in life, he also puts up a fight with Mookyul whenever possible.
I liked that about him, he wont give up easily and doesnt take anything lying down,

Friendly, easygoing and likable even in the manhwa, except the creepy old dude, who doesnt find him huggable Ok, there are more such freaks but they dont deserve a mention.

Human his reason for cheating on Jiho is hilariously simple and his hesitation and doubt regarding his relationship with Mookyul is heartbreaking.

ADORABLE!!! This needs no explanation,

Ewon is the ultimate uke hero funny, cute and totally captivating!

Mookyul even though there are a multitude of reasons why he isnt anywhere near being a good romantic interest moody, violent, stalkerish, arrogant, controlling, childish,.
and the list goes on nevertheless, I found him hot, misunderstood and the perfect match for Ewon to straighten out.
Mookyul has a lot of baggage and some difficult choices to make but he comes through when needed and despite all his faults he really does love Ewon and cares for his merry bunch of a gang.
Hes a vulnerable egocentric brat but his devotion to Ewon is admirable and heartbreaking,

I loved the jilted ex lover Jiho, He was a doll faced pretty boy with a mean streak, he was downright nasty at times, but his scenes never failed to make me laugh.
The way he daunts and makes fun of Ewon and his relationship with Mookyul is epic, I would pay to see glimpses of Jiho and Ewon when they were a couple, I sense some laugh out loud awesomeness there.

The villain in this story was despicable and quite disgusting, but I couldnt really figure him out till the end, some choices he made I didnt really grasp.
An honorable mention goes to Mookyuls gang of misfits, they were fun, supportive and absolutely useless without Ewon around in simple everyday matters.
I loved how they viewed the relationship between Ewon and Mookyul,

Overall:

A more than great boys love manhwa with the most lovable hero Ive encountered in a long time or ever.
If this is your genre then its obligatory to check out this series!
Yay! I read my first.
. . whatever you call this

Anyway, I really liked it, I was a little confused at the begging and following some of the scene shifts, but the plot was easy to follow.

Ewon was really cute and funny, I found myself laughing a lot, Mookyul was mostly an asshole and I wanted to "THWACK" him in the head many times!! But he was so funny at the end with all the biting and bloody hickeys!!

I want to read the rest of this series ASAP!! I got this one because of the gorgeous cover art and I have a weakness for mob related yaoi.
Since this is pretty popular, there are a ton of stories to choose from, Totally Captivated deals with Ewon, a young twink that gets hijacked into the mob by his exboyfriend, Ewon then deals with the daily struggles of being the low man on the mob totem pole while his exbf is sleeping with the mob boss a boss who of course wants Ewons ass.

Ewon is a super cute character and the artwork often reflects this, He initially cheats on his boyfriend soon to be ex Jiho because Ewon is a friendly guy that shares his love around.
He learns perhaps thats not the best choice of action, Ewon is cute, funny, and contradictory, Hell say one thing and do something totally else, Jiho and the mob boss Mookyul are more difficult to get a handle on, Since Ewon is pretty clueless and the story is told from his perspective, the two characters are mostly seen as larger than life.

The artwork is decent but what mostly killed my enjoyment is I couldnt follow the plot very easily.
It seemed to jump around and never made a lot of sense, I usually have an easier time following yaoi stories but this one never came together in a cohesive narrative for me.
Plus I never really understood why they were always slapping the crap out of Ewon, He always takes it pretty well but he seemed to get hit and hit on every other page,

Im curious to read more but not sure Ill enjoy this particular series, Its easy to read and lightening fast with ok artwork, Ewon is pretty adorable and can carry the story, even considering the problems I had so if this might work for someone else.
