estimate story

Fighting the good fight against evil and finding what you were not looking for, A strong woman who was hoping for a savior but never thought it would h happen, Excellent!

Prepare yourself! Once you start reading Vees story you wont want to put it down, Or I should say once you immerse yourself again into the world of the Jutak Warriors you wont want to come out, Learning Vees history, how he came to be a Jutak Warrior, why he became one, makes you want to go back and reread the other books to look for any clues you might have missed about his intense personality.
Book is well written with fully developed characters and could be read as a standalone but dont do that, youll only be cheating yourself, Highly recommend this series you wont be disappointed, Youll be like me yelling for MORE! Let me start by making this point VERY clear, When I have to purchase a book in order to read it, because its not part of the KU program, I expect it to at least, the VERY least, be proofread enough to catch the typos and grammatical errors.
Especially when using something like freaking grammarly can do it,

The relationship between the two main characters was, . . odd. Ok, parts of them were, Lets start with Vee. The man has serious mommy issues, I get it, the author made sure to explain it was a cultural thing, but man, he was a huge wimp when it came to his mom.
Not cool. Hes a warrior, yet every time she called on him to run an assignment outside of the Jutak, off he went, Eva, well, I honestly think there was something physically wrong with her, The sex scenes were not that great, especially when apparently she leaked all the way to her knees and gushed a lot, Thats just gross.

THEN, as if things werent already going downhill for me, he cheats, I dont care if his “marriage” was never consummated or they had an arrangement or whatever, he was publicly committed to one person, having sex with another is cheating.
Which by the way, Eva forgave in a span ofminutes, Yay for strong female characters !

I think Ive reached the end of my Michelle Howard reading days, I refuse to pay for a book when it seems the author doesnt really care much about quality,

Loved this book! I love this whole series, Now, where can I find a Jutak warrior of my own! Swoon Another great romance!

I have really enjoyed reading stories about the Jutak warriors and the human women they love.
This is one of my favorite of these stories, The heroine was on her way to meeting an alien husband she chose when shes kidnapped by slavers, The hero is undercover trying to identify dealers of a deadly drug when he sees her as a slave of a truly evil criminal, Posing as a pit fighter, he makes a deal with her owner that turns her over to his possession, He soon comes to realize that shes the woman meant to be his nestmate, It isnt until they are safely off the criminals planet that she learns who he really is, But hes not told her a secret that lives back on his home planet, .stars.

It was a pretty good read and I liked the heros character, The climax of the story was a bit lame, but the epilogue was good, I have to admit that I never thought I would be able to read V'hor's story, First of all because of his revealed Serpine nature that for me it reflects a lot to snakes, I hate snakes. I must admit that I was very much awaiting this book when the author announced it, I could not stop reading, I love Eva and Vee's story as much as the others, This is one of the few scifi romance series that has kept a special place in my heart and always sparked my interest, Thank you Michelle for gifting us such loving aliens, This was definitely one of my favorites by far, I loved Vee and I just loved this book so so much, We get to see more of the serpine people as well as another human love interest, Just such a good read and I absolutely loved Vee!!! Vaguely unsatisfied

The majority of the story is good, despite the typos and grammatical errors.
But the ending just doesn't seem to fit, As I said before, this series is one good book and one bad book, but I'm happy to say that now has two good book in row! :

I loved the glimpse, honestly, more than a glimpse, to V'hor's world! It was very interesting! I want to read more about his mother after her parting words: "You are my bright star" after I've read at the beginning how manipulative and blackmailing she was!

I loved V'hor too! He was so sweet with his nesting urges! Usually the males in this series want to have sex, but what V'hor wanted was to cuddle!!! It was so unexpected that I had the urge to suddle too! LOL

Eva was OK.
Didn't loved her, but she was not a emptyheaded female or too stubborn to listen to what V'hor had to say! In difficult situations she was afraid and almost histerical, but it was not overdone it seemed like a normal reaction an average woman would have.
And since she was not a fighter, for her it was OK,

Another nice touch was that it was Eva who was sexually aggressive!

The action parts were nice and exciting and I enjoyed them.

All in all I liked it and I'm looking forward to Bane's story, even if I'm a little bit afraid see the beginning of this review! : I have been reading "A World Beyond" series from the beginning, and I must say I only DNF one book from the series.
I have been following V'Hor from the other books and wondered how his story would work due to his deadly nature, I have to say I LOVE V'Hor's story, A powerful yet gentle soldier born of the royal line yet suffering from what his people considered a flaw due to his mother's indiscretion, Suffering from the constant abuse of his Mother and trying to navigate his life around her moods provided a great storyline, There is the standard storyline of finding love, a couple's misunderstanding, and then reconciling, However, I felt V'Hor's story to be a bit different, Vee, like Torkel, thought he would not find his true "Chosen, " It would have been nice to see Torkel mention it as he did with Kyele, Overall, I enjoyed reading "V'Hor's Nestmate" and cannot wait to read Bane's story, It will be a sad day when this series ends, I have grown to love the Jutak Warriors and their Chosens, This book is the ONE, I couldn't stop reading till I finished it, I thought after the last two books that this series lost its shining but now M, H finally writes an amazing book, There are many extraordinary males in this series and I can't wait to read about their stories, My biggest disappointment is with Rydak's story, I wanted him to pair with sweet human female but I found that the story was about two alien people,.starts

Adorable hero, a heroine who doesn't make me want to throw my kindle at the wall, cute romance, what's not to like I enjoyed it.

I just wish we explored V'hor's alien world and more on his mum, The intro to his mum hooked me from the get go, I find her fascinating, she is a complicated character and a queen of a matriarchal society who has to be ruthless and manipulative to keep her position, that makes her one of those characters you'd love to hate.
She definitely needs her own book, She gave off that Cersei Lannister vibe and I loved it, Love this series . one of my favorites!

I am sad since I am finished with theth book in this series, . hurry up with Band's story, Next to Jaron and Arak, he's in the topof favorite Jutaks for me! Can't wait, Good story.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine,
No cheating, small other woman dramabut not in the usual way,
Mate connection, more on his side,
VHors Nestmate

The “World Beyond “ series by Michelle Howard is one of my favorites, Her Jutak warriors are way behind a four of warriors but a special selection of Males from throughout the Universe, Each warriors background and story of finding their females is also filled with exciting adventure gripping stories,

The camaraderie of the Jutak warriors is very special and their playful banter is very entertaining as well, The special bonds and friendships being built among their mates and children is so much fun to have as part of the stories as well,

VHor has always been a mysterious character whose background and story is so interesting , original, different and exciting, the world and character building just keeps getting better with each World Beyond addition.

Although this could be read as a stand alone to truly enjoy the series I highly suggest reading In order,
Hoping the next book will soon be finished, V'hor was born of royalty but a deeply guarded secret that could affect those he loves and protects resulted in his choice to walk away from his destined future to become a Jutak warrior.
Male Serpines are naturally emotionless, cold, and lethal by nature, but V'hor has mastered that persona, Only his team mates and their chosen realize that behind his facade lies a vulnerable male who craves the connection only a nest mate can provide,

Eva Blake and her BFF chose to sign up for the Singles Program as there's little hope they'll ever find a husband on Earth.
Paying the twenty thousand sign up fee they board the Single's Program ship to two different futures, In Eva's case, her ship is boarded and she's sold as a sex slave, Now a slave to an illegal MMA style complex owner, her life is one of abuse, humiliation, and servitude, Nothing can save her.

When V'hor is sent undercover to pose as an undefeated fighter in an illegal fighting ring, he takes it as just another assignment until he views a chained slave under the control of the fight club's owner.
A well thought out plan and plan of action playbook is thrown out the window as V'hor is compelled to protect the female any way he can.

Can't deny that I let out a spontaneous squeeeel when I discovered this newest installment in the "sitelinkA World Beyond" series, A big fan, I loves this series which can, for the most part, be read as a stand alone,

V'hor amp Eva, I'll admit I wasn't a fan of these two becoming a couple at the onset, It took a bit of time to get on board with their romance probably because the author highlighted their back stories and focused on current time line Jutak warrior business V'hor's undercover status with the result that any direct romance scenes don't become relevant until the later portions of the story.
And. For those who are on a need to know basis: yes to adult content scenes but not until waaaaaaay late in the story and I'd say don't grab

this book if your primary and only decision to read it is for adult content action.

Secondary characters. This is the primary reason I'd be hesitant to say this is a stand alone read, The author includes characters from previous installments and introduces possible new characters making it a/sort of decision, One secondary character totally TOTALLY surprised me, I started out detesting a certain character feeling karma would eventually deal with them, only to discover it was more a nature vs nurture moral state of mind that in the end I couldn't fault.
Actually, I felt bad that it had to be the way it was, .

My issues. My primary issue were story line inconsistencies throughout the story that a copyedit editor would or should have caught don't know if author used this type of services.
Most minor and some nitpicking, regardless they did give me pause,

Just to make sure anyone reading my review knows: I am a biggie fan of this series, I love the world building and adore most of the characters featured, Any negatives are offset by the pure enjoyment I get from reading the individual stories, Fans of SciFi alpha warrior class males falling for Earth women in need should check this one out, .
